Ate at the new restaurant in Mission Beach. The quality of food was excellent. Very authentic! I loved the handmade tortillas and my adobada taco and cabeza taco was delicious. Would recommend to anybody. Will be back for more!

The tacos have no flavor and wouldn't recommend their vaso de elote that's an 8oz container with canned chewy corn for 4.99$ First and last time going there.

BEST mulas de adobada with HAND MADE tortillas, La Birria deliciosa!!! I drive from LA just to get some of them mulas! I do not eat Mexican out much because I’m very picky. Growing up having the best homemade Mexican food, but every now & then I will try a new place & this one is a definite go to place to stay on this side of the boarder for some of them “mulas”!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤

These are the BEST and most AUTHENTIC tacos I’ve ever had. Good presentation and preparation of food. Ingredients are quality and everything was fresh.. Homemade tortillas were delicious. Place was very clean and for rush hour the food was served quickly....oh and with a smile. I am so glad I found this place 😛 you're welcome! ps- I love the decor here, I wish I could take one of the paintings home with me.....

I was exited today when I went there I'm like Yes!! they make fresh flour tortillas!! but have no taste and there adobada meat same thing no taste since I order a adobada burrito I will not recommend this place to my family members.

The staff is great and helpful. The restaurant is dirty and if you would like to eat in you will have to clean a table. The prices are not bad at all. The hot sauces was good, but the food was bland. As of now it will be a 3 star until I come back and try some other things off the menu. They need something spectacular that no other restaurant has, which I didn't see on the menu to justify 5 stars.

I love Tacos El Trompo. I've only been there 3 times but the food is (mostly) great. There was just one day where the rice tasted like cleaning product. Fortunately, my other coworkers tasted it too because then I knew it wasn't just me. The staff apologized and gave each of us a free soda. I'll definitely be back.
