great karaoke setup. waited for two hours to sing and the place was completely packed after having the 5th drink spilled on me, i gave up waiting for my song and left. bartenders are super surly. all this bar has going for it is the karaoke, which is pretty poorly organized.

First time visitor on a Monday eve for Comedy & Karaoke to this interesting bar in Mission Hills. Medium-sized bar w/ a satisfying center bar service w/ many bar stools and comfortable booths around the exterior all facing the performance floor. Nice sound system & acoustics for talking.
Not sure if any on site parking. We parked on street. Restrooms aren't marked, so don't wait last minute. Rroom was clean. I had a beer & a fun time!

I've lived in the San Diego area for ~8 years and have been to many karaoke bars over the years (28 states). I have been told to check this place out since I arrived here but just NOW actually had a chance to check it out. I don't have anything overtly negative to say from my personal experience but because my psyche had such a build up over the last many years in believing that it was the BEST place in SD, I was 'let down' even though it was a very entertaining evening. I'd give it a B minus...mostly because the singers, while entertaining, are not the best 'singers'. Still worth a night out.

Put our name on the list at 8:30pm waited 3+ hours and the DJ told us we were “up next” multiple times. He seemed more interested in singing songs himself or flirting with girls. Never got to sing anything ourselves. disappointing.

5 dollar cover to get in. Not incredibly crowded. Karaoke night looked like it would be fun. Placed a name in with a $3 tip. Too bad the song ended up getting played by the DJ about an hour into waiting. Then another hour passed. Didn’t feel like waiting a third hour so left. $7 Coronas.
Live From Normal Heights
I used to enjoy going to this place until the bouncer started being jealous of me and trying to kick me out every time I go in for no reason whatsoever. Funny thing is when he kicked me out on Sunday night three girls yelled at him that were enjoying dancing with me. I'm going to keep going back whether he likes it or not because the girls like me and so do the cool guys that aren't jealous.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The place was so dirty. We got a standard room but they downgraded us blamed it on me.. If I wasn't so tired I would have canceled my reservations. The snoty little hooded @#$%^& at the front desk should not be working with people. Don't book here you will be very sorry. Also, someone hit my car in the parking lot.
I will be getting my money back.
