Banyan Kitchen

So delicious! We got a quiche and the goat cheese omelette. The quiche is seriously to DIE for they were so flavorful and creamy. I am an avid baker and the baked goods were made to perfection. As for drinks we got a vanilla latte and a chai latte- they were so good. We are always looking for the best cafe in San Diego and this is our new favorite!

Banyan Kitchen catered a recent shoot that I was on as a Teleprompter Operator. I couldn't say for whom I teleprompted because it is a major secret. But I can say that Banyan Kitchen provided wonderful breakfasts, snacks and lunches for two days, including a pistachio-crusted salmon filet with mashed cauliflower and a salad. For dessert, a devastatingly delicious brownie from Bread & Cie. Sometimes it's great to be part of a crew that is treated so well. Thanks to the Banyan Kitchen team, especially Armando, who practiced Covid safety protocols while providing comfort meals to the video team.

Delicious breakfast. Not a ton of gluten free options but what they did offer was wonderful. I never order yogurt with granola but I took a chance on it. Wow, delicious. I also loved the fresh fruit. It's rare that you see pluots, golden kiwis, and nectarines at restaurants. All of their stuff was really fresh. They put out water bowls for the dogs. The staff were very attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Go in for a cup of coffee if you have the chance! They have amazing coffee and they always give a sweet artisan chocolate with each cup. Their coffee bar has a wide selection of artisan made chocolate truffles and other treats. The kitchen serves light fare for breakfast/brunch/lunch but all the selections are full of flavor and delicious. Also they did a great job with comfortable nooks/overstuffed chairs and couches and an overall welcoming atmosphere.
