and frequent their location in Tierrasanta and Chula. Wish I knew this outstanding restaurant was here long ago bc we go to a NOT so great one nearby when craving a Hawaiian Plate Lunch. You MUST give Homestyle Hawaiian in Point Loma a try over all other Hawaiian plate lunch AND traditional Hawaiian cuisine if in the area. Hands down food is outstanding and fresh and servings very generous!👼

A solid restaurant. Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Not sure of what to order don't worry their selection is amazing and the workers would help you with a quality selection on their menu. Come alone or with some people. There is plenty of space in the restaurant.

Excellent food! My son took me here for the 1st time and it did not disappoint. The salmon was probaly one of the best I've ever had. I definitely recommend this place!!

Popped in here today at a whim, great whim! Was greeted by Tricia warmly, place has a nice vibe with light music playing, open seating space, very clear, and constant flow of in person, call in, and Dash pick ups!
Easy menu wirh options for everyone, today I got the Mahi Mahi with a creamy sauce and capers -which came with rice and a super tasty macaroni salad! Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly! Really hit the spot.

Food is fantastic!! We were from out of town and wanted some Hawaiian food and this place was amazing! We had several different dishes and all were sooo good. This is a must eat at restraunt!

I tried the Mahi with lemon caper sauce for lunch on 15 Aug 23. SO good. The Mahi was lightly pan seared and perfectly done - tender but not dry. Man im going to be thinking about that all day. Tasty lumpia too, give this place a try!

After spending years stationed in Hawaii my wife and I stopped in because we were looking for some of our favorite foods from the islands. We were not disappointed at all. Food was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. We tried another Hawaiian location in SD but this one blew it out of the water. Can't wait to go back.

The lava chicken is honestly the best chicken ive had in years. The spice level is conservative with a very balanced sweetness to finish. Highly reccomend.

First time here for my husband and I today... we really enjoyed the food - we ordered the Big Bruddah and the Kalua Fries.. all of the items were really flavorful with huge portions. Loved the atmosphere and customer service was great! We will definitely be back again soon to try other dishes.
