My brother discovered this place in March 2017, and then when he and I took a cross-country road trip together from Philadelphia to California, he made it a point to take me to this place. It was truly a Philly vibe. From the amazing soft pretzels (multiple kinds/styles available but the Philly Pretzel was spot on - better than most soft pretzels themselves in Philly). The beer cheese that came with the pretzels was mouth watering (order an extra one - you won't regret it). And the beer selection was spot on with a mixture of local San Diego beers as well as some from the greater Philadelphia area. To top it off, if you are a Philadelphia sports fan visiting San Diego, this is your hangout. You'll find Phillies and Eagles and Flyers posters and signs all over. Truly loved the atmosphere. Next time I find myself in San Diego I'll be coming here in a heartbeat.

I am not an avid beer drinking but I have found a few here that I LOVE! The Pretzels are ah-maz-ing and the team that works here are super down to earth and friendly. Great vibe! Will def. return and bring more friends next time!

Cool spot for a beer and a pretzel. This was my first time here. This is one of my son’s favorite spots and is a regular here. I’m in from out of town and had to check it out. The vibe is cool with Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies colors. I even had to get a t shirt. Love the swag options!!!

In what I can only assume is some sort of sociological effort to put all of the Philly fans in one place and thus save the rest of San Diego from them, this place exists via, I think, some bizarre portal to Eastern Pennsylvania. The denizens of this establishment have an intricate series of rituals for every possible positive outcome during Philadelphia sporting events, which mostly involve loud communal chants and banging on furniture. A woman named Lykheng (which I think I spelled correctly) glares at them in constant protective judgement, a comforting bulwark whose continued side eye and beer service keeps these degenerate lunatics from total barbarism. A man who I can only assume is the owner wanders about with two main responsibilities: 1. Turning excellent music on during the commercial breaks (which he does with astonishing precision), and 2. Running through the establishment with two cowbells after a Philadelphia homerun. Everyone is friendly, which means they are equally willing to fight you or purchase you a citywide special, according to your tastes. They sell some insane, delicious canned beverage that seems equal parts irradiated apples from three mile island and tears of William Penn, and it is 5 dollars. They offer a wide variety of pretzels so that you can experience real Sixers-fan-level regret after you order something other than the Philly. There were literally several dozen witches here, and they fit in perfectly. I think I'm a Phillies fan now. I blame this place, the best bar in North Park. Don't come here or you won't want to leave.

Went to Pretzels and Pints for school fundraiser and was not sure what to expect. Turns out that this is a great place to enjoy some pints. The food menu has something for everyone and the pesto chicken sandwich was really good. Plenty of space, outdoor tv’s, bar was quick and the place was packed. Great service!!

Came on a Friday and enjoyed the outdoor seating! Pretzels were fun and the brew selection was great. Environment was super cute with market lights and some TVs with the Padres game on. Staff was very nice. Met some nice puppies seated around us.

This place has a fantastic Eagles gameday atmosphere. Get the meat-lovers pizza pretzel. It's amazing.

Amazing vibe, food, and taps! That such a simple idea could take off like this is a treat. Great space for friends, or just to chill and catch a game. About 4 billion pretzels and sauces to choose from, and the taps are creative and diverse. Wish I was closer.

Super fun lively place. And if you like pretzels, you'll enjoy the options here. Also, a good choice of beers. They often have different things going on like trivia night ect.

My wife and I went to southern CA for our honeymoon in January of this year. Both of us being big Philly sports fans weren't going to miss the final Eagles game of the season and after some searching stumbled upon Pretzels and Pints. We loved it. The pretzels were fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the service was a little slow, but that was to be expected given the amount of people there. It was so much fun to watch the birds win, sing the fight song with such a big and enthusiastic group. We enjoyed it so much that we came back by a few days later to watch a Sixers game. They didn't initially have it on but were more than happy to accommodate. We were two of the maybe four people in the restaurant and it was a much different environment, but just as awesome. I would recommend Pretzels and Pints to anyone visiting SD, especially if you're a Philly fan.

If you're on the hunt for a place where sports and good times collide, look no further than Pretzels & Pints. First things first, the customer service? It's a total slam dunk. You'll be greeted with a smile and a vibe that says, "Hey, let's have a great time together!" Now, picture this: you're hanging out with pals, catching the game, and enjoying some pre-dinner vibes. That's exactly what Pretzels & Pints serves up. It's got that quintessential sports dive bar feel that's straight outta Philly, Chicago, or Boston – the kind of place you'd want to be when your team is playing and you need a spot to unleash your inner sports fanatic. Whether you're craving sports excitement or just want a chill spot to kick back with your buddies, this joint delivers. It's like a casual haven that's perfect for both game day warriors and daytime loungers. So, if you're in the mood for a laid-back hangout with friends, some hearty pretzels, and the thrill of a good game, Pretzels & Pints is where you want to be. Get ready to cheer, laugh, and enjoy the true essence of a sports dive bar – right in your hometown!

The vibe, the people and these Pretzels!!!! As a native Philadelphian, these are by far the best soft pretzels I have ever had out here. You find yourself in the North Park area of San Diego...pop in and enjoy the best soft pretzel you could possibly have in San Diego! 💁🏻‍♂️🥨♥️ Makes me feel at home and the owner, Boomer, has to be one of the kindest funniest people/business owners I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and supporting!
