Great service and a mixture of up scale and simple dishes. The menu is great and the bar has a good selection. Plenty of space in and out. So seating is not an issue. I Had a well cooked dish, but it was salty. My friend ordered the same and it was too. They took care of it and re-ordered. The 2nd day my food was perfect. Rations are big compared to other restaurant in the area. It’s a great experience and has a decent schedule for those staying at the hotel. Will comeback to upgrade this to a 5 stars.
Great atmosphere with nice view of the bay for the sunset. Good selection of quality spirits and beers. About six or seven options for food which are appetizers. However, if you want food from downstairs, then you would have to go to the restaurant as they do not cater.
TLDR: Nice restaurant with lovely views, very helpful & friendly staff, but only a few good dishes.
We came here to eat multiple times during our stay at the Hilton.
Pros
1) Convenience: obviously the most convenient option if you’re staying at the Hilton. Getting a table was a breeze and the servers were very gracious
2) Views: beautiful view of the bay while you enjoy your meal
3) Staff: All the times we came, our servers were simply the best. Attentive, helpful and friendly.
3) Some good dishes: Loved the beet salad & whipped feta. The tuna tartare & sesame rice paper was really really good.
Cons:
1) some not so great dishes: The tuna sandwich, chicken wings and pizza here aren’t that great. Definitely overpriced in my opinion
Typical hotel restaurant with beautiful views of the bay and Dole ship. The food was delicious but very expensive. A burger, a burrito, chips/salsa and two Sodas was $73 for dinner. Overall it was good and didn’t have to leave the hotel for dinner after walking and exploring San Diego all day.
At the beginning, the person who served us only saw her once and no more. Then we changed tables and art served us. His attention was excellent. I can say that it is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. Everything was very tasty. Except that the first waitress forgot us and art helped us with everything and was a good host.
The Drinks are amazing. Atmosphere is the best. It's a must. Get ready for a liquid experience. Enjoy!
There are tons of beautiful dining options in San Diego. Had dinner with some friends while staying at this Hilton location. Great experience and enjoyed the ambiance.

Good hotel bar. The pizza was a unexpectedly good (bar food often isn't). Friendly bartenders. If you're staying at the Hilton, you can use a $15/day credit at the lounge.
I spent one week in San Diego on vacation and of all the waiters and waitresses I interacted with, Mimi at the Hilton Bayfront Odysea was by far hands-down the best person that helped us. She is a true delight, caring, had a ton of attention with my kid, a 5-star interaction and customer service. If you hit the Odysea, please, look her up and sit on the area she is servicing.
