We went here to try this corn bread and cheese custard muffin. I don't know what it's called but it was as unique and delicious as I'd hoped. We also thought these use sweet rolls were good, but they were definitely sweet. They tasted to me like Portuguese sweet rolls I grew up eating, but the Ube puree gives it a unique spin. My husband tried the pizza pocket, and the sweetness of their bread tasted strange to us in that context but if you love hot pockets this might be your gourmet version of that.

Very friendly. Good food. Call ahead for large orders
Freshly baked cheese balls are bomb, good for bringing in to work to share.
Nice place with very interesting baked sweets. I want to try more but I got this Kurbata Macapuno.
Guys, I just can't describe how absolutely divine and heavenly this bakery is... their cheeseballs are just spectacular! Light fluffy and a tad sweet, just perfect. Today I had a beef empanada which was different than the Mexican style I am used to but believe me when I say it was scrumptiously delicious. It is my SO favorite pan de sal which is not one of my favorite but still hits the spot when I take a bite. Just come try it out and you'll see what I mean.
Two words: CHEESE BALLS! You need to pre-order to guarantee to get any. Worst part is feeling my waistline expand as I try to keep from eating an entire box :)
Absolutely scrumptious deliumptious! Better than any other Pilipino bakery I have been too in San Diego. Come on by and get you some cheese balls!
Filipino bakery with a small hot food selection. Pan de Sal, ube rolls, Spanish bread, siopao, Toron, lumpia, everything.
If you're not familiar with the food, just ask. The staff at the counter are very friendly and willing to help. In fact, be careful, customers and staff may start teaching you about the Phillipines, invite you over to their family party, try to stuff you full of food and make you fat.
This was our first time here or to any Filipino bakery for that matter. All the breads and pastries were so different with strange names yet they looked so, so delicious. We wanted a taste of everything!! We ended up getting a couple items but it was the Ensaymada with Raisins that we ate tonight. It looked like a bulging cloud of fluffy sweetness and in fact tasted even better; like heaven. It was amazing! All is right with the world... at least until the Ensaymada is gone.
Nice selection of pastries and bread. You can eat lunch or dinner they have combo plates too
