This is one of those ice cream joints that uses nitrogen. I found the ice cream to be as the name suggests - very creamy. I had the French vanilla with caramel sauce, and it was quite good. Place was very busy, but I think many customers were trying to figure out how the menu worked. Unfortunately the tables available outside were very dirty. Not this joints fault, but worth noting.

This place is really cool. The quality tastes better then normal ice cream shops. Excellent customer service. We drove all the way from Vista since the San Marcos store closed. Definately worth the drive

Love this ice cream! Addicting! First time at this Peñasquitos location. Only giving 4 stars because the staff energy is a little blah. Take cues from the Clairemont Mesa location and liven it up. Made-To-Order Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream is supposed to be fun!!

The people who work here are amazing and do great with what they have. Sometimes it moves slowly but that's because each ice cream is hand crafted. I love the vegan options here. My only complaint is at times, it feels like there could be more on staff than are there during peaks.

This place is so cool!! Its really exciting to see the fog billowing under the glass divider when they're churning your ice cream. I recommend looking at the menu before you go though, they have a ton of options for toppings, ice cream flavors, and bases. I went with a group and we shared the espresso with premium base, the pistachio with premium base, and the Thai tea with coconut base. The premium base was too dense for all of us (maybe they over mixed it a little, they did just open yesterday), but the coconut was spot on, very smooth and velvety while not being too dense. The espresso was great, just what I wanted. Very strong in the coffee flavor while still being sweet and creamy. The pistachio was pretty classic for a pistachio flavor, though 2/3 of us thought it wasn't strong enough. Lastly the some of us thought the Thai tea was a little too sweet. Also, there are only 3 2-person tables inside, but there is outside seating available. Still, I'm planning on coming back here! Overall we really liked it, and we're rather picky. Very fun to watch and lots of options. And did I mention their spoons change color with temperature?? Bad: Premium is a little dense, and Thai tea is a little sweet. Good: Very cool to watch, espresso flavor is great, scoops are big, lots of options, and is the only place within any reasonable distance to get a good shake of a unique flavor.

This ice cream isn't inexpensive but worth every penny. All orders (including the ice cream itself) is made in front of you using a process involving liquid nitrogen. Watching it being made is almost as good as the product... Almost. If you're an ice cream fan you need to go... It's some of the best I've had.

Fantastic flavor and lot of options ...the best is how you can literally choose various things and they make the ice cream right there... Talk about fresh. They have vegan and organic options too. If you love ice creams you should go here. There are not of options for healthy ice creams that you can give to kids. Here is one of them ...

I want to give this place 5 stars but the only drawback is that it’s expensive. We’ll go grab some tacos or sandwiches somewhere and then get ice cream but the dessert is more expensive than the meal. Lol. Nevertheless, we have gone back a few times. I’d go back a lot more if it were a bit more reasonable but the five stars app promo helps. Definitely very good ice cream.

Pretty good Creamistry. A little smaller than the others I've been to. Napkin holders were empty and they got my order wrong but the ice cream was good which is all that matters. Will be back

Positive posts are what I'm all about, so trying here. We let 2 of our daughter's order an ice cream each. The menu was complicated so the girls got nervous and felt rushed to order and were encouraged to add this and that. The total came to $18.52 for 2 ice creams? That makes no sense ..... It was loud, we waited a long time because they got the order wrong. The girls were just ok about with the ice cream. The $2 chocolate cup we threw out as it tasted just bland. Cute concept. Labor intensive so understand why it takes a while. If the Original or Uniqueness of the place gave us a great experience, great. Or we got some amazing tasting ice cream, great. We got neither. I'm seeing nice reviews. I'd give it another shot to support local business, but the high price may just keep us away ...

Went there with a group of adults and kids and everyone loved their custom creations! My favorites are the premium base cookies and cream or the affogato which is vanilla with espresso poured on top. Keep up the great work team!

I had the green tea with the coconut milk base in a waffle cone bowl and it was delicious. I work nearby and this probably the best thing that moved into the shopping center :)

Very tasty ice cream. The girl who helped us was very friendly. And my kids were so enthralled with the nitro mist. It was ice cream with a show! A little pricey for my wallet, so I wouldn’t make it a regular thing we do. But we’ll be back next time we want to go out for ice cream for sure.
