Bakery & Cafe - Big Joy Family

Super quaint bakery, I loved it. They did our wedding cake on short notice, but it was still gorgeous and VERY reasonably priced. They have a good variety of flavors, and baked goods for sale as well. My husband and I got some macarons while we were putting our order in for our wedding cake, and due to the fact that they were a little more crunchy than normal, the cashier gave us a discount. They were very upfront and honest about it, without us asking what their macarons tasted like. I like an honest company. The pastry artist is also very accommodating to allergies, and has good suggestions if you don't know what you're really doing. Great place!

Cool local spot with a more lounge feel around the edge of the wall, which has large rocking type chairs which are comfy and have little ikea tables between them for your food and board games (which they provided; scrabble, connect 4, monopoly...)seating for 4 in each section(4 sections inside along wall of establishment) plus the glass table for 8 and another table for four located in the middle and entrance of Big Joy Family. Lots of choices when it comes to choosing a slice of cake, cheesecake, plus drinks (coffee, latte, smoothies..) defiantly worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood. I had the strawberry shortcake slice, and a strawberry/banna smoothie. Both tasted fresh, and we'll prepared. Served on a nice tray for you to take to your table. Everyone was very friendly and greeted us when we walked in and then again when we were leaving. Will be back again.
