Celebrated a fantastic birthday lunch at this place. The meats, cooked on an authentic charcoal grill, are delicious, and you can truly taste the authenticity. The salad bar offers excellent options, and personally, I'm a fan of the jalapeno poppers. The homemade Brazilian pudding is my favorite dessert there. The bar is well-stocked with great options, and the staff is exceptionally attentive and professional.

Visited this place for my nephew's birthday, and I'm thrilled that we did. It was an amazing experience, and the majority of the staff members were fantastic! The food options were delicious, and the service was prompt. To top it off, they sang happy birthday to my nephew in Portuguese. I highly recommend it!

I’ve been coming here often now. This place amazes me every single time. The cuts of beef and lamb are truly to die for. I’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses locally and none of them come close. The flavor, tenderness and seasonings of their meats are excellent. They also have great service! I highly recommend this place!

Outstanding Brazilian steakhouse! They mentioned that they are family owned and have been in business for about three decades. The gauchos are incredibly attentive and bring all sorts of meats on call. As we slowed down near the end, the management ensured we had the opportunity to try any of the meats and offered to bring different cuts out that we hadn't had yet. The included salad bar was delicious and consisted of many options, such as fried bananas, olives, beets and cheeses. Highly recommended! Get reservations, as it fills up quickly.

I'm not sure why people are having iffy experiences at this eatery. It was absolutely incredible for my wife and I to have an evening dinner dressed up together. I have been to other steakhouses and have been disappointed at the lack of quality meat cuts and not preparing them correctly. Everyone was extremely nice and had several options of degrees of doness, and even offered to prepare dishes to our custom dietary needs. The atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted, and my only critique was that I was not aware the Argentinian wine I ordered had large degrees of sediment. Casio, my server, was extremely apologetic at (my own ignorance that this is common in this specific wine), but STILL removed it from the bill, a very nice gesture. I don't give flowery reviews unless the experience actually warrants it. This was an amazing experience that I could not have improved if I tried. Excellent food, great service, and all we hoped for in a dinner experience. THANK YOU Rei Do Gado, here is to 25+ more years in business!

The atmosphere was nice, and the service was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. The lobster and shrimp were well worth the small additional fee, cooked perfectly. All the meats were cooked perfectly, very tender and juicy with tons of great flavor. The cheese bread was also amazing. I will definitely make a stop here the next time I am in San Diego.

Not my first time and definitely not my last time. We had a great time. Food is excellent. Service is amazing. Everyone is nice, polite and friendly. I really enjoyed the meat but I loved the pineapple. I never tried with the seafood yet. The buffet as good choice of vegetables, salads and a few hot meals. Do not pass the cheese bread.

A well-deserved 5-star review for this restaurant. It's a really good concept with very reasonable prices for quality meat in downtown San Diego. The option to add as little as $5 to get a lobster is killing it. The concept: It's an all-you-can-eat focused on grilled meat. The staff comes to your table with a piece of meat when your indicator is turned green. Eat quietly when your indicator is red. There are various pieces of meat served, such as sirloin, rump steak, ribs, etc. There is also a buffet to get some greens and other sides. Nice selection of wine. My card was charged multiple times, but the restaurant was very quick to answer per mail and confirmed that I'll be only charged once. It reduced my availability for the rest of the holidays but since the restaurant was responsive and willing to help, I'll keep the 5 stars.
