Interesting place. It's got a 90's skater vibe. It also has a patio, which is pretty BA. Friendly service, ok drink selection. Pinball and popcorn is a plus.

Cruised in on my beach cruiser the other day to try this spot and I was happy I made the stop. I sat down and was greeted by Billy one of the bartenders who introduced himself to me which made me feel very welcome compared to some places you go. The drinks were cold and they did a good job making my wife's martinis. On the Saturday that we were there they were getting ready to have a onesie party that night so it seems like they might have some fun activities going on from time to time. They also have free popcorn and a decent bar food menu. I only tried the Tots but the rest looked good as well. Pinball,foosball, and the hook and ring game..Next time you're in the area give them a try.

After 2 years pandemic, I went back to my favorite bar again. It was still so fun! The drinks are still delicious. The surprising thing is, after 10pm, the bar turns to a night club. People dance, and music is loud. The atmosphere is cool and young. I will come back here for another fun night with my friends. Plus here’s foods are pretty nice.

I went to watch the Canelo vs GGG fight. The experience was awesome. The attentiveness of the staff was excellent. The food was a great value for the money and taste was good. I definitely recommend the Banzai Bar

Food was a 4/5 good but not amazing. The fried cauliflower was dope. Burger was good not great. Fun atmosphere. Prob would have been a better drink spot. Parking was so difficult! You gotta park to the right in this whole different section. Everything else around is tow away

Laid back San Diego sports, gaming, patio bar with food. Dogs okay, order from the patio. Brunch on the weekend with bottomless mimosas. Great throwback theme throughout. 💥

Amazingly friendly staff who will feed you girl scout cookies. Fantastic cocktails and a great local beer selection. The food menu is diverse and the burger I had was very well made. They will announce your name as anything when they call you to grab your food, which makes for funny announcements. 2 pinball machines in the back, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Parking is tricky but there are tons of local streets nearby to park on. Great happy hour and weekend brunch deals. Nice big TVs so you can watch the games or music videos for the music that is playing. Great local vibe bar, best in Point Loma. Crowd is mostly young adults, definitely a great place to stop by.

Was in town for Comic Con, wanted to go to bar, and I found this place. At the time, the kitchen was being renovated and that sucked, but our bartender (I want to say Alex) was such a nice guy and he could mix a drink. I went on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded at all. I enjoyed the overall look and feel of the bar. It was the type of bar that I wish I had near me because it is one that I would visit regularly.

Two days later, I took a couple of friends to Banzai Bar for Sunday Funday. Bottomless Mimosas, sports on the big screen, dog-friendly, and the bartender Chelsea is perhaps the best ambassador any place could ever offer.
Been back twice this week. Here's why: besides Chelsea's five-star service and the best video playlist in San Diego, Cookie rocks a deliciously diverse menu! The sliders are a perfectly sublime standard but don't miss the poke tacos, the nugs, garlic parm tots, or the OG Breakfast Burrito! And I still can't say enough about their Poke Bowls... Ono!
I will continue frequenting Banzai Bar not only to discover their events and special nights but to continue to discover what the rest of the menu is all about!

Best little dive bar in town! The FRIENDLIEST bartenders! Chelsea and Charlie are attentive and so sweet. This bar also attracts friendly people, too! NO ATTITUDES like other “trendy” bars! It’s easy to start conversations with others because the people who go here are REAL! Great happy hour, drinks & bar food. I tend to come early afternoon when my car is at discount tire. This place never disappoints. I always get happy knowing I’m going to get the same great service every time! Thank you great staff and owners!

I love this place! It feels like home, the people are friendly the staff knows your name and the food is awesome... if you're a gulls fan, this is your bar. The official San Diego Gulls bar, they show all away games and welcome fans to come have a drink and some chow before the home games. Glad that this place is open, it's just what this area of Point Loma needs 😍😍😍

Cool peeps. Came to watch Spurs Basketball. They put it on the projection screen for us. Good fusion food. Drinks are awesome. An all around good time. And they let you play Beer Pong.
