Fish Market San Diego is a very good Seafood Restaurant!! Several selections of freshly caught fish, and their soups are great. Ambiance is a star here too with an amazing view of the water and the inside is also gorgeous. Server was both friendly and attentive. They also are hosting a wine tasting fund raiser for charity which is great.

I had dinner here with my family in June. I meant to leave this review then, but thankful my inner hoarder kept the receipt. Our Server Janna S was absolutely wonderful!! My only stop for seafood when in San Diego.

Great location near the marina and the famous statue of a sailor kissing his girl upon the return from war. We came for dinner as a group and the service started off excellent by the host and waiter but dropped off as the evening went on. Not sure if it was because he got busy or he became disinterested since the gratuity would automatically be added due to the size of our group.
The atmosphere is notable since it’s on the water but the main floor is pretty standard with wood tables - nothing special. Our food, however was delicious and I suppose that the most important thing. I had the swordfish Cajun style and it was to die for. Moist and juicy with just the right amount of Cajun spices. Others had the scallops, tuna, and other types of seafood and no one had complaints about the food or the sides that come with the meal. We also ordered calamari appetizers and this were also tasty. The more upscale version of the restaurant upstairs has a better atmosphere but given we had been out all day we didn’t want to go change before dinner so chose the main floor.
Definitely worth visiting for the food and I recommend the swordfish.

The restaurant is fantastic! The views are magnificent, the food is exceptional and the service is first class. I highly recommend that you check out this restaurant near Seaport Village.
I had the scallops with a field greens salad and both dishes were excellent. The apple crisp was delightful and will be my go to dessert when I am in the area.
Overall, this was a great experience!!

While the wait time was rather long. The food was worth the wait. We ordered a vegan yellow Curry sauce, swordfish, and the Halibut. Everything tasted fresh, the fries were crunchy and seasoned well, and the seafood was not fishy or overcooked. There are vegan options! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Beware though, the prices are in the upper range.

I really enjoyed this place!!! The food was incredible. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavor profiles were on point. The views from the restaurant were nice and the wait staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in San Diego.

The Fish Market in San Diego has left an indelible mark on my dining experience, earning every bit of its well-deserved five stars. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that this establishment takes pride in providing a top-tier culinary journey.
The panoramic views from The Fish Market are nothing short of spectacular. Overlooking the beautiful San Diego waterfront, the setting is simply breathtaking. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the gentle sea breeze, created the perfect backdrop for an evening of culinary delight.
The staff at The Fish Market were not only attentive but also genuinely passionate about ensuring a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu, coupled with their warm and friendly demeanor, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. From recommendations to seamless service, the staff truly went above and beyond.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. The salmon, perfectly cooked to tender perfection, showcased the chef's expertise in bringing out the natural flavors of the fish. Each bite was a testament to the commitment to quality that defines The Fish Market's culinary offerings.
The mahi mahi was a delightful surprise, with its succulent and flaky texture. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, a true celebration of the ocean's bounty. Paired with delicious green beans that retained just the right amount of crispness, it was a harmonious blend of taste and texture.
The perfectly cooked French fries served at The Fish Market were nothing short of addictive. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were a delightful accompaniment to the main dishes, adding that extra touch of indulgence to the meal.
To cap off an already outstanding meal, we indulged in The Fish Market's apple pie dessert. The dessert was a triumph of sweetness, featuring a flaky crust and perfectly spiced apple filling. Served with a dollop of ice cream, it was the ideal conclusion to an evening filled with culinary delights.
In summary, The Fish Market in San Diego is a gem that seamlessly combines incredible views, attentive staff, and delicious food. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, this establishment delivers on every front. From the first bite to the last, The Fish Market offers a culinary journey that lingers in the memory long after the meal has concluded. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view of the Bay at this restaurant. We got great service and laughs with our server. It's a shame i don't remember here name. I had the Swordfish, which was tasty and cooked perfectly. Great place, great people and great view!
Very exposed to the sun if you are eating outside but the breeze from the bay cools you so you don't overheat ;)

Location, location, location! Fabulous food, great service, amazing views! What more can you ask for? Fresh fish is their specialty. We had swordfish, fresh caught locally. Clam chowder is my thing. The Fish market has creamy decadent clam chowder served with french sour dough on request. Parking is paid. Valet parking available. Right next to the Bob Hope memorial, The Kiss statue, and the USS Midway.

I enjoyed the outdoor dining space with beautiful nighttime views of the water; our server Michelle was very pleasant working with our party of 13 women; my appetizer of crab and spinach artichoke dip with pita bread and my entree of fish and shrimp yellow curry was delicious.

Great place for fresh seafood with excellent views; there’s something for everyone on the menu. Ate here on a Sunday evening with a very minimal wait both for seating and dinner. To be honest, our server was kinda awkward and seemed out of sorts.. maybe just a long day?
The food was great however, the Peruvian shrimp ceviche appetizer was spot on. The Fish and shrimp curry could use a bit more curry broth, but the flavor was great. The Scallops were seared perfectly and that dish was amazing. Our daughter had the teriyaki chicken and rice, but the rice seemed old and was a bit crunchy.
Overall, a pleasant experience and solid choice for some great seafood and views.

Very good location and food quality. The Clam Chowder is right up there with the best. Excellent view of the harbor if dining outdoors. Not terribly busy on a week day evening, so I really enjoyed it.

This is a very charming location. Set on the water with a nice view of the bay and of the midway museum. I had the cioppino and thought it was good if a bit unusual. It came covered in Parmesan cheese - if I had known would have definitely asked to skip that.

It was one of my favorite spots in San Diego . Our table by the water made our last day perfect!! The oysters Rockefeller was on point, full of flavor as well as the clam chowder. My fresh Tuna poki bowl made my pallet jump for joy every time i took a bite. I can't wait to go back and will make this place a regular stop.

Outstanding!! Stopped in without reservations and was told the wait would be a half hour, ended up being less than 15 minutes. Off to a good start already. Server was super friendly, attentive and helpful. Food came out super fast and was excellent. The manager stopped at the table and we talked wine & spirits for a bit. Never felt rushed either. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for in this instance. (Kids meal were only $10 and portions for all of it were large) Clam chowder was great! Would definitely eat here again!

We always hit the fish market in SD. It's my pops favorite place. The menu is amazing and there are tons of quality drinks. The views are also incredible. Parking is plentiful for the most part.

Our tour guide suggested the Fish Market and it did not not disappoint. Amber our server provided the best service during our entire vacation. We split the Louis salad and the coconut mahi mahi especially stood out. Finally the view - a booth over looking the bay - was tranquil and cozy. Thanks, we’ll be back!

Have to say that this time the cutlery 🍴🍽️ was dirty and had to change it more than twice.
