This is my favorite Subway (on 4th in Hillcrest, CA) and despite others false reviews, the staff is actually very helpful and have always gotten my order correct! I definitely won't go to any other subway and neither should you!!
I eat here often for lunch and it is so delicious!
And the service is great!
I always take my delicious sandwich home and eat it watching my favorite show on TV and taking a nap right after ... 😆 Lol
Fresh ingredients and awesome sandwich. Staff are friendly. Location has limited parking.

My original review is below. Here at the top, Google asks me to report what's new about this Subway: What's new is that the workers here were unaware today, 23MAY22, about John Oliver's rather severe review of all Subways on his show last night.
Now, here below are my initial and very important thoughts:
Subway is the restaurant without a kitchen. The employees have staked out a corner of this place and have stocked it with a bunch of vegetables, a few cheeses and a small number of sandwich "meats" that have been prepared for sale years ago in some distant factory run by dentists. I've heard that the owners are mostly dentists.
There's a long line of small tables in the line of traffic to the employees' corner. Everyone prefers to sit over on the other side of the room at the few tables there.
This has got to be a mind-numbing place to work. Some workers can take it. Others tend towards meanness but don't throw stuff like the ham from the black forest.

Google asks me on 05MAR22: has this Subway changed? It seems to me that the bread is different and the sandwich, too, but very likely it's got less stuff in it by weight. Yet the sandwich I had today was better than usual. It could be because that nice looking kid constructed it in careful and rapid way.
My experience there was a very good one. It was clean. The employee was kind and professional.
Made our 🥪 exactly to order and they were very good! I actually was blessed enough to get a parking spot. This is most definitely a walk up restaurant.
Never disappointed! Best fresh sandwich's for lowest price! Clean, fast, fresh & very nice people! Eat cheap here! In all my years, I have never had one complaint! I also notice D how they keep up with changes & things to keep our interest! Great Job Subway!
Customer service awesome food great
We were there around 9:00pm and there working the counter trying to fill online orders and wait on counter.
It took a while to get our subs made and check out.
The guy that was working was still pleasant even having to keep up with the order bumbardment.
Miguel, you provide the most excellent customer service whenever I make a stop at this Hillcrest location! I've seen you twice now! 🙃 Thank you for the scrumptious sandwich, too! 🥪 I'll definitely keep coming back. 👍🏻
