Interesting walk in place where you can get slices or a whole pizza to go with a variety of brews. They describe their pizzas as "Chicago style influenced by the (San Francisco) Bay area". That's pretty accurate. Their slices are Chicago Style deep dish with cheese on the bottom and generous amount of very flavorful sauce on top, then covered by the topping(s) you select. I had "pesto - garlic" which had lines of pesto and large chunks of garlic. I loved the flavors. Neither the pizza nor the brews are cheap with a slice going for $4.25 and a pint for $7.25. They do have a "happy hour" from noon - 7:00 PM which a slice is $2.00 when you purchase a brew and some other combos as well. I found a single slice tasty and satisfying so still think it is a good value. Bon Appétit.😀

Quick, casual spot for a slice or three of deep dish pizza. Also, awesome selection of beers! If I lived around here, I would come all the time for their pizza+beer combo.

Truly enjoyed this place, from the guys that worked there to the pizza. There were no beers available as it was too late which was weird, so I will update the review upon my next visit for that fifth star. The pizza is absolutely fantastic and worth a visit and I'd say the slices are a great size so you're not stupid full. Disregard the negative reviews and make your own own mind up. The majority of people enjoy this place and is easy to see and taste why.

Great pizza! But the pizza just seemed off compared to the downtown location. However the beer selection here is far superior and you don't have to deal with the late night ridiculousness that the downtown location has being next to a club. Overall it's a top notch deep dish pizza place.

Awesome customer service! Absolutely fantastic deep dish, super cheese pizza. Great selection of beers on tap at good prices. Highly recommend this location, small but nice amount of seating, indoor and outdoor. Bathroom in the back.

Me and some friends were introduced to this pizza joint and let me tell you this place is awesome. The customer service is amazing, the pizza is deep dish style and also they have great deals for happy hour, where you get a beer and 2 slices of pizza for like 8 or 9 dollars. Delicious!!

Great pizza one guy by himself took care of my and my wife. He took his time with us which was excellent. They were understaffed but he was working like 2 people in 1! I hope he's the manager because he definitely needs a raise for how hard he's working. His name is Kevin Walker.

Really like the ambience. A place to take a break and eat outside of the bars around it. They have a good selection of background music, their pizza options are unique and you can't have just one. They also have a good selection of beer. My go to to talk and hangout after work.

One of the best thick crust pizzas in all of San Diego. If you order for pick up, expect a 45 minute wait at a minimum. You can also order it par-baked and finish it off at home. Those are usually ready in 25 minutes. Parking is tough, but isn't it always in North Park? Best bet is to have two people for the pick up. One to go in and one to drive around. I wish they offered curbside pickup (or at least pick up in the alley).
