First time customers did not disappoint, the food is very delicious. We had some hamburgers and drinks, we’ll served by the way. Jose is an excellent server. He went out of his way to give us an award winning service. In close, this place is a hidden gem. I recommend it. 5 stars!

Was in from out of town, and this is my sisters' favorite burger place. We loved it here!! The food was great, and I was SUPER impressed with their bourbon and whiskey collection.... over 1000 whiskeys and bourbons!!!! The people were awesome to us and Bruce makes one hell of an Old Fashioned! Next time we're in San Diego we will definitely be back.

We love their food and fun atmosphere, jose is very entertaining, they are all attentive ! This restaurant reminds me of my hometown in Pittsburgh, PA. Very relationship-oriented, they build customer rapport, and feels like you are eating over someone's house. Shout out to chef 👨🍳 🙌

Always a good place to visit for food and drinks. They have happy hour from 11am-7pm. The meatloaf and butter garlic shrimp entrees are amazing. Cannot be a the price - not to mention their awesome cocktails for a crazy affordable price. Highly recommend!

Best burgers ever, terrific onion rings, cold beer, and great mac n cheese. Boomerangs and staff are a slightly hidden treasure! I bring friends every time I'm in San Diego. Some argue that it can't be the best burger ever but leave admitting I'm right 😉.

From the Ambiance of the music to the setting until the culture it's one to remember definitely a spot we will go to again. Bruce And Jose Are Amazing!
Please, please, give this particular Boomerang's food and service a try, you won't regret it at all! The fried zucchini was the biggest portion for an appetizer I've ever had, the fresh garlic in the mashed potatoes, just perfect, and the chicken wings were very generous in portion size.
The service was something I haven't been given since the 1970's or 80's; so personalized, friendly, and, they just made our short stay like being at home. And, for me, that means a lot.
I'm going to make Boomerang's a regular stop!

A very unique restaurant. It’s actually very large, with two floors, but all the customers and staff were upstairs, where there is a small bar and a handful of tables.
We ordered a couple of burgers, with fries and onion rings. Everything was quite good. The buns were thin and crisp, and the lettuce and tomatoes were extremely fresh. I especially liked the pickles.
The staff was awesome. Very helpful and friendly.

Jose is absolutely amazing! My partner and I were in town visiting family in the Clairmont Mesa area and wanted to try a local bar. Not only was the drink amazing, Georgia Peach Tea, but it was affordable. We ended up staying much later than intended just having a blast doing karaoke with the other bar patrons. I highly recommend if you're in the are stopping by. Note that there are dogs there, so take allergy meds if allergic. We didn't eat, but the food looked amazing.

Fantastic ... EVERYTHING! (What’s what one of my child said). We all enjoyed our food. Plenty to spare. Prices reasonable and definitely worth the food.
Taste like a home cooked meal. Felt like being a guest at an old friends home. No rush unless you are in one.

This place is a hidden, eclectic gem, literally. Tucked away, behind another restaurant and upstairs. The food was great and the service was fun. They love their regulars and definitely appreciate new visitors such as me and my family. It's not for everyone, but I recommend giving the place a try.

I got the juicy lucy with panko onion rings as my side. Panko onion rings were great, crunchy and the onions were firm. The burger and ingredients like bun, lettuce onion tomato was fresh, but not exactly the juicy lucy i was expecting. Very friendly service.
