Stopped in at black market bakery and ate some yummy desserts! We had a cinnamon cookie and a black widow tart. The staff are all very nice and a very pretty store inside and the outside section which is dog friendly. Cute place to visit!
Found this place by accident, love all their pasteries!
I especially love their Almond Croissant!
Their Pain au chocolat was very good as well.
Definitely need to come back here to try all their other pasteries and definitely want to try their breakfast Eggywiches.
Stayed in town for a week and this place was within walking distance of our AirBnb. Great drinks, amazing customer service and some pretty great pastries to boot! Definitely come check this out if you end up in the area at all, well worth the stop! Went 3 times in the 6 days we stayed!
Blackmarket Bakery is a hidden gem in North Park. Not only do they have great breakfast items, they bake all of their items in house and have a wide selection of knick knacks (cards, candles, chocolates, etc). This is a great place to pick up small gifts. I have come here a few times and the short bread cookies are a hit, specifically the earl grey short bread and the mocha walnut shorties. The earl grey cookies go great with tea and the mocha walnut shorties taste like the edges of brownies (IE the best part). As far as breakfast goes, I like getting the Fresh Prince breakfast sandwich with bacon as well as the Soyrizo sandwich. Can't go wrong with either, but the Fresh prince is more balanced since there are some veggies in there. There is covered outdoor seating that is dog friendly. I will be back soon!
Wow this little shop sells everything, it truly is a black market! The center of the shop features local artists like cards, chocolate, gift ideas. The menu is along the wall, when you approach the front counter, it’s a big display of pastries and desserts as well as fresh baked bread.
You have to come early if you want pastries because they sell out quickly. I ended up with an Iced Matcha Latte. I’m glad she told me it’s unsweetened so I added lavender syrup.
Shops along this neighborhood are like residential homes so seating in the back was just like sitting in your back yard.
My drink took about 15 minutes. It’s one of the best matcha I’ve had. Very nutty, earthy and the lavender was the perfect blend of sweetness.
Wow. I'm impressed. Pasty was off the chain*good. And the coffee, definitely worth two cups. Love the decore and the music was awesome. Overall 10stars
Awesome coffee shop with so many choices of baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, drinks, and more! Highly recommend getting any or all of their cookies. They are freshly baked and soft and everything you could want. The Fresh Prince breakfast sandwich was ok. I would try a different one next time. They also have homemade syrups. The iced vanilla oat milk latte hit the spot. A lovely outdoor sitting area with a decent amount of tables inside and outside. Very friendly staff!

Great place to relax outdoors with it's cozy backyard patio for dining or chatting. Inside seating is available as well. This gem offers sandwiches, salads, breakfast, coffee/teas and several pastries. The menu definitely caters to all diets and flavor profiles.
Coffee/lattes are wonderful, pastries are delicious and the sandwiches are good. Must try the Cookie Monster bread pudding, regular bread pudding, oak chocolate chip cookie, snickerdoodle cookie. Too many delicious pastries to try. Overall positive experience
