A true San Diego gem. First off the service was outstanding. So friendly and helpful with recommendations. The owner came out at the end of the meal and she was so lovely it only made me want to come back even more. The tamal, the empanadas and the pollo a la brasa were beyond delicious. The chicken especially was seasoned perfectly and so moist (yeah I said “moist,” deal with it). The desserts were also excellent. I love the vibe of this spot, feels like a real family establishment. And loved that on a Saturday for lunch people were pouring in. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Small restaurant that fills out quick. I went at 11am on a Sunday. Service was great and fast. I had a vegetarian chaufa with was delish, papas a la huancaina were good and a humita which was a little dry. Portions were large. There is no dedicated parking so I had to drive around to find on the street. I will definitely go back next time I am in San Diego.

Nice quiet place to try unique dishes. All food was great. The passion fruit drink freshly made was amazing. Ceviche with halibut was very fresh and tasty. Main course Chicken with salad a fries was also very good. I am impressed with size of chicken breast. Huge! Good amount of left overs. Server was very nice and quick response time. Recommend trying this restaurant.
