I really enjoy coming to eat here. Service is pretty quick and the food is delicious. The three salsas they give you with chips are always good. The Carne asada fries are amazing, their portions are definitely worth the price. The employees are really friendly too. I've been recommending this place to my friends.

Been coming here a few times drive-thru. So. Far my hubby has really enjoyed there carne asada fries. I ordered a side of rice chips and two tacos one of carnitas and tripitas. size and portions are just right as well as meat quality as flavor. Haven't been dissatisfied .service can improve cashiers vibe is a little rude.They offer 3 different salsa the toasted has been the winner.

Idk if it's my luck but usually the cashiers are always on a bad mood. It seems like you are doing you a favor by taking your orders.. but the food is good. But a friendlier customer service will be nice..

If you like down to earth traditional Mexican food El Paisa doesn't disappoint! I had the tacos and the staff was really friendly the food was extra yummy and the atmosphere was great. My food was delivered fairly fast, I sat at the bar and had an orchata as well. The bartender was super nice and brought me a water and made me feel welcome.

Ordered a Carnitas burrito and thought it was a big portion! Tasted great and I really enjoyed the green salsa they provided (brought out 3 salsas but no chips for some reason)

Huge menu and cold beer! I had tacos: from left, Carne Asada (beef) Pollo Asado (chicken), Lengua (beef tongue, don't knock til you try it) and if course Carnitas (pork) w a side of eggs over-easy & we also had a hearty bowl of menudo! Very affordable & seating available in their covered patio. Their salsas are also tasty but one (far left) is pretty hot for some folks (you know who you are). You can order online & they also have a drive-through!

Everything I have tried is good, I love the sope so much, I don't oftenly go but when I do I don't get disappointed, service is good and quick. I highly recommend getting the fries. ✨

Love the street tacos! Lengua is delicious 😋 the carnitas as well. Also enjoyed their fish taco. The service isn't the best but the food is good. They also have great house hot salsas.

Love love love this place. I just need to remember the shrimp is not devained but I still ate it. Next time I'm ordering another type of fish taco. I love bean n veggie burritos here too. My boyfriend got carnell asada fries, those are good too. Service was excellent!!!! Rice n beans off the charts!!! Not sure if the beans have lard though. Ambience is awesome, so chill!

I Have Been Inside, Yup The Food Was Delicious And The Service Was Great. I Usually Get The Rolled Taco's Or A Carne Asada Burrito And A Horchata Drink. I'm Always Satisfied. I Recommend This Place 💯. Oh Yeah Great Place To Watch A Boxing Or UFC Fight, Yup Definitely Delicious Food Ice Cold Beer And Awesome Service.

I never usually make google reviews of places but this deserves the exception. I came here twice so far with my girlfriend. On the first occasion the food was top notch. They make their burritos huge and their cali burrito comes with guacamole as it should. I hate having to request it at other taco shops. Their agua frescas are amazing also. On the second occasion that I came I blown away by combination of the great food again and then by the customer service provided which was outstanding. Estaban is a great charismatic server and the staff that prepared our food did a great job. Thankyou El Paisa I think I found my favorite mexican food spot in san diego.
