Love Mendo! We dine in or carry out frequently and have since this location opened. The food is always consistent (no small feat!) and delicious. Their sandwiches and salads are hands down the best in the area. My daughter loves the PB and J. Trevor, the manager, is so polite and friendly and funny.. thanks for always making us feel welcome! We especially enjoyed the Mediterranean Crunch salad this evening.. so flavorful 😄. Didn’t grab pics because we ate everything so quickly.

So good!! I'm not usually keen on food from chain restaurants but this place delivered!! A handful of vegan or can be made vegan options- we got the Bahn Mi & Happy Hippo Sammie's, pickels & dill potato salad, and spicy curry couscous- all were full of flavor! The manager even came outside to check on us and asked how the food was- wonderful service & good eats.

A truly exceptional Mendo location. Highly recommend! Trevor (one of the managers) went above and beyond with his friendly service and attention to details in my order. The sandwiches I received were delicious, fresh, and packaged so conveniently for transport! All of the staff were great and the location was spotless clean. A pleasure to order and enjoy such tasty food.

This is one of those places you may drive by and wonder if it's a good place to eat. Let me assure you: It is! They are known for their sandwiches, but let me tell you, it's the SALADS we always come back for. We used to go to the one in Encinitas, but now that we've relocated to Del Mar, another shop is literally two blocks away. I came "this close" to making it a four-star review because I think their ordering & table delivery system could be a bit more robust, but all in all, I think they're a terrific place to get Good Clean Food, and their "natural juice drinks" are splendid!
