The place is great. Great beer, nice staff, great service. Great food trucks. The best when I can drink a beer, eat, and bring my dog.
Coronado Brewing Knoxville location is the bomb. Good beer, great space and the best staff in town are the makings for a good time to be had by all who enter this place.
Try it once, and you'll be sure to return again again and again...
What's not to love with an open patio which is both dog and kid friendly. The Orange Witt and Happy Daze won me over but the Stout with bits of Oyster didn't disappoint either. Still not sure how the service works but we relied on the Thor looking bartender for assistance. Saw multiple servers running food and drinks but never got approached or asked if we needed anything, so you may need to be a bit forward at this establishment.
In A Nutshell:
-This Coronado Brewing location is pretty good.
-Parking can be a little challenging b/c their lot is small & the co-located w/ other businesses in the area, so just have some patience.
-This location also happens to be where their finance operations are HQ'd.
-If you bring your dog, I would advise you bring another friend or two w/ you.
-The reason why I say this is there is a slight "catch 22" if you come alone w/ your dog.
-The outdoor patio area is the only area they allow your dog, but you can't bring them into the tap room.
-You can't order food or beer from the server bringing out food/drinks to the patio, you can only order from the tap room.
-So if you come alone, just ask a friendly stranger or hell a very nice finance employee to watch your dog while you go inside to order :)
-With all that being said, their choice of beers/ciders are really good.
-I really like the cool names they have on the beer menu.
-I enjoyed a couple of their ciders, which were very refreshing on a warm fall day in Southern California.
-Their Islander Ahi Poke is very, very good it's served w/ a poke marinade that has cucumber & avocado over seaweed-slaw. It's topped off w/ wasabi cream, sesame seeds & microgreens w/ a healthy side of wonton crisps.
Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere, the great beverages, the ahi poke & chatting w/ a couple of their finance people.
Great place for events with lots of room. Loved their selection of beers and the food was excellent!
Will be back again!
ALOT of beers on draft. Whether you are a IPA, seltzer, pilsner, ale, etc. person does not matter. They have numerous beers on draft for whatever type of beer you prefer. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area to check this place out. Their outdoor seating area is very nice and accommodates many people which is a huge plus.
One of The Best breweries in San Diego.
Amazing beer, Food and environment.
I would 100% recommend you checking out this place if you’re looking for a really fun brewery to go and get some great food and beer!
You won’t regret it!!!!!
We enjoyed great food on our first visit. We were here for food, not beer, and everything was great, artfully prepare, and delicious. We had the artichoke dip served with fresh tortilla chips and pitas, the nachos borrachos, and a butcher shop pizza. The stand-out was the artichoke dip. The location is casual and dog friendly. The restaurant and tasting room are accessible, and there is accessible van parking nearby.
As tourists we wanted to try out a local San Diego brewery and we are glad we found this one! Although in a more industrial area, they did a great job of making the outdoor space fun and inviting. Our group had pizzas, pretzels, and a Thai wrap. All the food was delicious and everyone loved the selection of beers and seltzer/ciders. Branding and overall look were on point!
Ciro is my all time favorite Beertender at Coronado. So incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Plus the melon pepino kettle sour was phenomenal.
Pretty decent beer and good vibe inside the brewery. Large patio out back.
Giant soft pretzel is the best in San Diego
Good pizzas too
The tasting room on Knoxville Street
Dog friendly patio
