I love the Pastrami Fries. The $10 Burger and beer is an awesome deal. Hamburger was very juicy and fresh. Service was good and friendly staff. The waitress was very welcoming and friendly, but she forgot my drink , but at least she brought ice water .. they also Charge extra for Mustard.or any condiments, Which I think is petty and cheap. But overall I'd recommend WhipHand..

Beer by the ounce, that you pour yourself...who needs a wine bar!? During Comic-Con week they offer a special pared down menu, and it is still great! Huge burgers are more than satisfying, and the massive lumps of lobster in a roll are worth the visit. This is one of those places which help build a City's reputation as foodie friendly. They also welcome fur babies on the patio. Food to remember, beer your way, and partying with your pooch - it is one place that makes San Diego great!

Very friendly bartender. Wait staff were courteous also. Not too noisy like nearby places so I could easily hear conversation at the table. Cocktail choice from happy hour menu was excellent and would order again. Recommend for a quietish bar. Kitchen looked like they knew what they are doing also.

Drinks are great, beer bank is cool sure - what sets this place apart is the people and the food. The staff is extremely personable, happy to recommend options on the menu and help plan your night. The food is outstanding - creative, delicious and 100% worth it.

I went during lunch and it was pretty decent. The food was fine. I ordered off the brunch menu and it was ok. The food was cooked ok, but it was drowning in water from the various things on the plate. The beer taps were cool made up for the food a little.

Pour-your-own craft beer spot in East Village. Lots of taps with local brews. Card system let’s you try different beers. Cool, clean industrial space. Bar-food menu avail. In and outdoor seating. Friendly bartender.

Absolutely delicious chicken club BLT and fries. Chicken was juicy and tender. Bacon was thick and cooked to perfection. Bread grilled on one side and crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes made for the perfect lunch. Friendly waiter provided fast friendly service. Would definitely come back, maybe for dinner next time to see how fun the bat is. Great bar and food spot right next to Petco park.

Great restaurant. The fried zucchini strips were really good, had some left over Cajun mayo to dip it in and it added some great flavor. The lobster roll was a good size but had a lot of coleslaw. Still highly recommend it tho. The buffalo chicken pizza was delicious also. The dough was excellent and buffalo sauce was on point. Beer selection was outstanding, lots of top choice local brands and selections. Pay for what you pour is a great idea. Allows you to sample all the beer you want. Also, conveniently laid out from light to dark so you’re not wasting time looking for the beer you want.
