Western Chinese Food buffet always reminds of the group meals of the tourist groups. For me, they are the memories of exchange program in elementary school and the travel w/my mom when I was in high school. 🥘Food 4/5 They provide plentiful choices. Salad, fruits, stir fry dishes, seafood, fried chicken, soup, ice cream, soda($3 more/person). The stir fry dishes are not bad, the classic entrees can be found. I like their shrimp with vege the most! The shrimp is tender and juicy! And for seafood, the oyster oil flavor for oysters creates umami🦪 The clams and crabs are not as fresh as I expected. It didn’t bother to have a try though! I could swig sour soup every time I saw it, but their soup is too plain. Service 4/5 Moderate speed to clean the table, but sometimes you would still see ur “waste plate” when come back to the table Overall, not bad. The price is fair for the variety and flavor of their food!

Sunrise has a large selection of tasty items and charges a fair price. They are very fast to replace an item that is almost gone and to refill your drink. The employees are very friendly and check in with you often to see if you need anything. You never need to hunt for your server. Our favorite items are the lobster, large oysters, fried head-on shrimp, crawfish, clams, steamed fish, fried fish, fried wings, hot and sour soup, and the dim sum. There is such a large selection that even picky non-seafood eaters will find items they like. Due to COVID-19 they still require masks when not eating and supply food service gloves for each trip you make to fill your plate. Update: No crab legs or oysters today (Sunday). Price is now $19.99/person. Update: Fri/Sat/Sun/Holiday price is now $21.49. No oysters today (Labor Day). Update: No crab legs or oysters on Saturday. The salt and pepper calamari was excellent. Prices increased again.

Great place to go to if you are looking for buffet style dining. Takes the stress of choosing what to order for a big group, they can choose for themselves at their own pace and however much they want. Lots of viands to choose from, from appetizers/starters to main entree to deserts. Servers are also attentive when plates need to be cleared up from the table. Will definitely keep coming back here for buffet dining.

As far as food taste and quality, I haven't had much luck with non-casino buffets in San Diego. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It was our first visit snd we went upon opening on a weekday. All food was fresh and stocked. I like to try a bit of everything rather than a lot of one thing. The meats, noodles, rice, salad, buns, soups, and seafood were made the tummies happy and the under $20 per person price point was good. I can see myself returning again.

my best friend and i were looking for a place to dine in with numerous options, and this restaurant came up. when we arrived, we were seated first, and paid after we ate. there were so many options in the buffet, ranging from salad bars, sushi, seafood boil, desserts, and other meals. we were FED. the food was delightful and we enjoyed our time here! prices range from the time you arrive — it can be expensive during dinner but it’s well worth the money.

Good buffet. The food is delicious. Prices are reasonable, vary by day of the week and time. There were few desserts for me, mostly just cookies. We came with dog and they asked us to show the certificate. We showed the certificate and we were seated separately from everyone in another room, apparently so that we would not interfere with anyone. After we paid the bill, we were given fortune cookies.
