This place is absolutely amazing! The owner and his wife really make sure your taken care of from start to finish. You can tell not only do they genuinely love their craft but the food, bar none is amazing. Tonkotsu is a must and the rolls are well worth the price. Portions are great! If you haven’t went here you’re missing out. Best gem in San Diego.

Seating was no wait but still full of customers.

I went here today for lunch. I live right down the road, and have been for YEARS but I've always been hesitant to come in here. I'm so upset I only just now tried this place... the owner and his wife are SO kind! They are personable, friendly, and make you feel like you've been coming here for years and like a regular! That being said, they had PLENTY of regulars, which they greated, asked about their families and days, and actually listened. I asked the chef to make me a few rolls, each of which were delicious. The prices WERE a little bit more than I was hoping for (i got a lemon roll and a baked roll, a soda, and a small appetizer - which ende dup being $68 with tip) but honestly still worth it and everything was so fresh! Can't wait to come back here soon!!

The sushi was fantastic and well made. Mike and his wife (the owners) were incredibly friendly and gave great service. This was my first time here yet somehow I felt like a regular. I will absolutely be coming back!

The 'manager' when the wife is gone was fun to talk to and gave suggestions to us. Made the dinner enjoyable. He even catered to my 3rd old grandson

Food was so amazing!! I had the tamago & inari and my husband had the chicken curry. Both were fantastic! The family that owns it is very kind and provided amazing service. We will be back soon!

This place has great sushi and lunch specials it’s all fresh. The only thing that threw me off was it said 50% off but when you look it’s sushi is normal priced roles. I found it a little deceitful but the sushi was still good. And the service was great super welcoming.

Went here after getting a haircut on a whim for lunch. It’s a cute, cozy, family business and I was immediately impressed by the owner greeting everyone that walked in by name. Everyone in the room was participating in one big happy conversation and it was just a nice experience. Food was fantastic, service was very accommodating, I felt like I was eating with relatives.
I felt like I was a regular when I walked in and honestly, I’m making this a routine now.
