WOW! Stopped in while visiting for work in the area. Owner greeted me, took order and made my burger to perfection. Price is absolutely insane amazing.. cannot find food like this for $10 anywhere. Honestly a burger like this on the East coast would be pushing $20.. by itself. Here you get a burger, fries and beer for $10. Definitely a stop to make if you're remotely close for a top quality burger. They do have both indoor and outdoor dining as well. Hot dogs really look amazing too.. wish I had more time to give them a try.

Fun, delicious, great service! Feels like visiting a good Neighboor who can’t wait to feed you! The Big Shoulders is such a good deal, and the quality isn’t at all compromised for the price. Thick juicy patty served on a brioche bun, toppings and a large serving of fries + a free drink. Amazing burgers and more, great value and friendly service.

Awesome place! Burgers are top notch and cooked to perfection. Burger, fries and beer combo is unbeatable at $10. Would not believe this is possible in La Jolla. Fries are great too - fresh, crispy, well seasoned with minimal oil. Leftover burgers taste as good as fresh ones. Would definitely recommend! 5 bears out of 5 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺

GOOD ALL AROUND BURGER... GREAT DEAL Before trying this place I was told by several people that this is very good. It's certainly the best deal you can find probably. $10 including a beer fries and a burger. The place has an unusually welcoming vibe, and gives free bottled water which I consider meaningful community support. I definitely think that this is a find because if you read the other reviews you will see the people love this place and they are very consistent in their kindness and their good vibe and basic all around good deal. I think this place has all the qualities anyone would want to see in a local place and I highly recommend.

Came here desperately trying to find an Italian Beef sandwich! Made the 40 minute drive and oh my gosh right when you walk it IT SMELLS JUST LIKE A CHICAGO HOTDOG AND ITALIAN BEEF STAND! Ugh I was immediately excited! I came from Chicago and have been trying to cure my craving for Italian Beef! We ordered the American Breakfast Burger even though it was in the afternoon because I wanted the fried egg on it. And we also ordered “Da Beef” or their Italian beef and they were out of the Gonnella Rolls (the bread they make it with) so she said they didn’t have it and I said “No way! We came all this way just to try it” and she said “oh really.. I can give it to you on a brioche bun” and we said absolutely! We came all this way so let’s at least try what we can. The order came out about ten minutes after ordering and the burger was so good! Now.. the last three burgers I’ve had have been disappointing.. but this place.. oh my gosh they came through! It was so well seasoned the egg was cooked perfectly and the fries… UGH they were so fresh and could curb any fry craving you could have! Such a side dish that hold a lot of weight and it did not fail us! They gave it to me with a side of their aioli and it was perfect! Now the Italian beef with Brioche bun was amazing! It was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and so juicy! Dipped it in the side of broth and the Brioche soaked it up so fast and really held the juice in their that made the bite just that much more of an experience.. This place is so good and is approved by this Chicago Native! 12 out of 10! Everything was beyond perfect!

My sister took me here multiple times. My favorite is their steak salad. It’s the best!! Delicious!! The staff are friendly, professional, and always made us feel welcome. Shoutout to George/Georgie! Their portions are generous, and the prices are so reasonable. Such an excellent value for the quality of food. We definitely taste the food is cooked with love and care. Highly recommend!!!

This was my family’s first time and we were more than satisfied. This is place is not a regular burger / hot dog joint. Don’t compare to a McDonald’s or hot dog on a stick 👎, it would be insulting to Chicago Fire Grill. From the gentleman taking our order, who I think was the owner and was the nicest and welcoming. My salad was amazing. Not an ordinary salad, I swear I think my salad had 1lb of chicken in it. The burgers were👌 will definitely go back💯 worth the price😋🥗🍔

Small menu and great taste, two dollar beer with a meal. Had the salad with stake and a classic cheese burger so far. Both are very good. Their meat tastes like meat in every bite, it always has a good char on it. You can order your the food cooked to your preference (rare to well done). Give them a try, they are very good. The cashier server girl has the best attitude in the world BTW. Just sometimes they take a little too long to clean the tables.
