I read some of the reviews and I have to say your silly. This is one of the best sandwich shops in san diego. They are always smiles and good service. I have been a customer for years. You are in for a real treat if you order the Chilli or the pastrami sandwich. Thanks guys for the wonderful service and the great sandwiches 😊

We really like the sandwiches at San Diego Sandwich Company. They've been in the community a long time, and I've been here 19 years, so I've been a time or two... I love their chicken salad sandwich with honey mustard. It's delicious! The toppings here are very thinly sliced so your sandwich is going to be mostly meat, not the tomato and onion, which matters to me when I'm paying over $25 for two people to eat a regular sized sandwich, chips, and drink. I also like their turkey sandwich with cheese, avocado, and bacon. It's actually not on their menu, so you have to add an ingredient to one of several turkey sandwiches available, but a great sandwich. My other half loves the egg salad sandwich on white bread, a real classic!

First time eating here and it was excellent! My favorite shop was closed today and I was craving a sandwich and found this place, safe to say I got a new favorite spot. The people there we super friendly and those chocolate cookies are no joke! Honestly felt as if it was a my grandparent making me a sandwich, loved the vibe and the sandwich. I give it a 100/10 for sure. (Number #25 is delicious btw)

My fave spot for a fresh and filling sandwich! So many good things for me to say, the corned beef is awesome, love that there is sourdough, and the BLT is nice and toasty. Never had a dry sandwich, and there's no shortage of toppings! Thanks Cynthia and gang, I'll keep being a frequent customer and can't wait to try the chili!

So friendly I had to review. Walked in and ordered for the first time, so I am unfamiliar with the menu. The woman taking my order helped me through the menu and read off all my toping choices without making me feel rushed. After completing the order she took care of a police officer and gave him a free drink, it was nice to see them taking care of the community members like that. Ordered a number 49 on sourdough and was pleased with the quality of chicken and bread. Will come back for lunch again!
