The only place that has a sandwich I crave! Best place for the very best sandwiches ever!! Hard workers & ever so friendly! Great assortment to choose from. You can eat there for 2 months, every day & have something different. No reason to go anywhere else!
I don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant, it's very cute. If the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Their chili is amazing. And if you don't try the pastrami sandwich you are missing out!
It's in my top 3 for deli's! The sandwich just hits the spot, they always get the right combination of ingredients and when it hits the lips, so good. They always manage to find the softest bread - i generally get wheat but will venture out on my next visit. Good quality meats and fresh vegetables, never excessive mayo/mustard - i'm sure they would if that is your thing.
Service has always been fantastic, they have a reasonable amount of tables if you are dining in, street and parking lot available. They also have ice cream, misc desserts that i have not tried yet, so if you need a post sandwich dessert - they have you covered.
I forget exactly how long these folks have been in business but I want to say it was 40+ years. They make fantastic traditional sandwiches with high quality ingredients. Laid back environment with friendly staff. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in their neck of the woods.
The prices are amazing considering the portions you get! Every time I walk in here, I am greeted with a friendly smile. The owner Cindy has a unique way of making you feel like you're in your Mom's kitchen. Great family environment with an outstanding friendly and professional staff. The best thing about this place is the Turkey Bacon Avacado sandwich which comes with REAL sliced avacado. If you're in the mood for something hot, the Pastrami is a must! If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, there is always a soup available and it's different every day. I can't recommend this place enough. All it takes is 1 visit and you will be hookwd!

Meatball sandwich was awesome! Really good. I think some of the menus posted around are a bit dated because everyone is saying it's a cheap place. It's pretty average price. This regular sized sandwich and a drink came out to $13, but I'll still give it five stars cuz it was really good - just have your expectations tempered.
First time here. Wife and I loved the sandwiches. They are huge. Will return when in town. Lunch 10-4-23
First time eating here and it was excellent! My favorite shop was closed today and I was craving a sandwich and found this place, safe to say I got a new favorite spot. The people there we super friendly and those chocolate cookies are no joke! Honestly felt as if it was a my grandparent making me a sandwich, loved the vibe and the sandwich. I give it a 100/10 for sure.

We really like the sandwiches at San Diego Sandwich Company. They've been in the community a long time, and I've been here 19 years, so I've been a time or two... I love their chicken salad sandwich with honey mustard. It's delicious! The toppings here are very thinly sliced so your sandwich is going to be mostly meat, not the tomato and onion, which matters to me when I'm paying over $25 for two people to eat a regular sized sandwich, chips, and drink. I also like their turkey sandwich with cheese, avocado, and bacon. It's actually not on their menu, so you have to add an ingredient to one of several turkey sandwiches available, but a great sandwich. My other half loves the egg salad sandwich on white bread, a real classic!
I read some of the reviews and I have to say your silly. This is one of the best sandwich shops in san diego. They are always smiles and good service. I have been a customer for years. You are in for a real treat if you order the Chilli or the pastrami sandwich.
