The gentleman that took my order, David I think, was superb. There was a decent line and David kept everything moving very efficiently while still delivering A+ customer service.
My food came out literally in 5 minutes, surprising for a peak lunch hour meal. But it was very good. The tacos were quite solid and filling and for the price paid it was all a good deal. This Rubio’s is a bit small so be aware that there is less indoor seating than most.

I really like the way the tacos are wrapped here, no muss, no fuss, a single sheet of wrap with a lime wedge tucked cleverly inside

All food was flavorful & came out in a timely manner. My favorite was the grilled shrimp taco, it came with grilled corn on top that added a punch of sweetness to the taco. The steak taco was also very good.
The salsa bar was stacked with a a yummy salsa verde & chipotle salsa.
A shrimp taco à la cart for $5 seems a bit steep, however, the flavors justify the price.

This Rubio's location serves the best quality food of all Rubio's locations I've visited in San Diego. While there seems to be a trend at other locations to literally water down the salsa, beans, and other ingredients making the food flavorless, Mira Mesa Rubio's food is flavorful, the picante salsa has bite and smoke, and the fish taco meets my standards for enjoyable eating. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean.

Delicious Baja-style Mexican food, served up hot and made to order. Great salsa bar to help you spice up your meal the way you like it. I had fish tacos last, so I went for the fish burrito—it was awesome! I go 2-3 times every time I visit So Cal. Nice job!

Excellent tacos at this rubios!!!! WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK TO THIS RUBIO'S AGAIN!!!! I went to grossmont rubios and I was VERY disappointed cause they didn't give me what I ordered AND BY THE TIME I FIGURED IT OUT IT WAS TO LATE CAUSE I HAD ALREADY LEFT!!!!
