Korean double fried chicken is tough market in terms of competition! Rounding up to 5 stars because it's just so good and the overall vibe is amazing. I've been to this location quite a few times and 50% of the time the chicken is perfect, crispy the other 50% of the time it is still beyond belief delicious, but just not as delicious as I know it can be. Overall so so so good and would recommend.
I love the cocktails as well

Cross Street is a must visit for every San Diego trip. It is located on the busy Convoy Street in a tiny plaza with little to no parking. Usually I opt for street parking to save the hassle of getting out of the lot. I came on Saturday night and surprisingly didn't have to wait. There were plenty of tables at the time. The workers were fast and attentive.
Soju bombs are only served during their happy hour.
Honestly this is is one of the cheaper places in Convoy (around $12-$15 for a meal). If you go here, YOU MUST GET THE BULDAK!!! Nowhere else serves it like them. I wished they would add more cheese though haha. But the chicken is amazing and just the right amount of spicy level. Their chicken sandwich was very meh, I would go with the chicken and waffles instead.

Delicious chicken and loved the kimchi fried rice. I was really happy they were able to remove the spam from it because I do not eat pork but still got to enjoy it.

I can to Cross Street with my brother for lunch on a Saturday. I see this place all the time as a frequent FedEx and Bing Haus customer. We were pleasantly surprised by our food here—the chicken tenders were really well-breaded and perfectly fried and seasoned. The chicken was juicy and the sauces were really flavorful. The chipotle slaw was composed well and had a good balance of mayonnaise and chipotle so it wasn’t soggy or super spicy. They’ve also got a fairly large beer list and some interesting looking soju cocktails.

Went here for a lazy Saturday lunch. It was still fairly busy but not in a bad way - just enough hustle and bustle to feel a sense of community but not enough to have to wait, be overwhelmed or have the service be affected.
I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crunchy and had some Nashville hot spice powder in places. The Belgian waffle was the type to already have a sugar layer over it, which I wish I knew before pouring syrup over it. It ended up a bit too sweet for my taste.
My wife had the chicken fried rice, which turned out to be really good! Small pieces of fried chicken on the side were delectable and the fried rice with an egg overtop tasted as good as it looked.
The soju drinks were pretty good as well, refreshing but with an alcohol that can creep up on you.
We loved how open and well lit the restaurant felt, even on an overcast day. I wouldn't recommend this place for an intimate date, but if you're with a crowd or want to people/car watch, it's perfect.

Chicken got the best crunch in san diego, it comes with some heat and a variety of flavors. The atmosphere was awesome, great art and whoever was on aux was Killin it, they even played the demon slayer theme song. Looks like they wear some cool shirts/ uniforms, kinda want one! Should play some anime on the TV's, I'll be coming back like yesterday. The chicken sandwich was more chicken than sandwich and no one could be mad about that lol

Soooooo good…got the chicken & waffles (Nashville hot style) as well as the Seoul spicy chicken sandwich and let me tell you…it did not disappoint…for the chicken and waffles there was a generous serving of chicken tenders that were full of flavor and texture from the deep frying…and the waffles were fluffy with a right amount of crunch on the outer exterior…combined with syrup…incredible …the Seoul spicy chicken sandwich was equally as amazing…light fluffy bun that was paired with a massive piece of chicken that was coated in a sweet and spicy sauce accompanied with slaw and pickled radish…also incredible…I wasn’t on the highway to flavor town…I was on the runway to delicious land with a first class ticket with both of these items…I will most definitely be back to try their other menu items

Good fried chicken. Their spicy gochujang sauce was the closest to spicy korean fried chicken sauce that i’ve had thus far. Service was awesome. The girl who helped us as well as the that one shredded dude were really nice. Beer was good too.

Love this place. I had the Seoul sauce. Great blend of spice and flavors. The fried kimchi rice was also great. The fried chicken and waffles were well done. Crispy chicken and fluffy waffles. We will be back!
