Soooooo good! Ordered the carnitas, cactus, and fish. The salsa is so soo good! Ended up eating so much of it that I almost couldnt eat dinner. wait on a friday night was pretty good, no wait for 6 people. The sangria was super good, wasnt the traditional sangria, tasted almost floral. Either way highly recommend. Great service!

Awesome food and great drinks with friendly staff. Inside the decor is bright and festive. Del Sur puts a new spin on classic mexican dishes using the best ingredients. Definately a good family spot to take everyone for a loud and fun dinner experiance.

This cute, Mexican restaurant in the South Park neighborhood of San Diego is a real gem! The food was incredible. Traditional dishes along with ones for those that eat vegetarian or vegan. The Jackfruit Tacos were awesome! Flavorful rice and creamy beans. The house maggies were a hit and we had the best of service. Will be back! ❤

My friend and I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheras and Enchiladas Suizas and were pleasantly surprised how tasty and fresh our Enchiladas tasted. The beef and chicken were cooked to perfection. However, we can't say the same for the rice and beans. Beans were a bit bland and rice seemed too dry. Lastly, the House Margarita and Tamarind Margarita were excellent!

Thanks 100% to Hannah, this place was just wonderful. Prices a bit high, and do not currently offer lengua on the menu. However with her great attitude and fantastic service and professionalism, it was WELL worth the visit for sure!!! Will get one more star once the lengua is on the menu.......!!

The jackfruit tacos were DELICIOUS! I also tried the mole enchiladas that my boyfriend ordered, and those were tasty too. The jamaica could use some work, but were very pleased with the food!

If you want a kinda cheesy Mexican restaurant experience in the city. This is great. By cheesy I mean kinda like a chilli's menu. However the food is way better then any of those chains. Very friendly. The area is the cutest in the uptown area. Been here like 5 times and every time left happy.

Cute place, nice little sidewalk patio out front and a colorful interior, but otherwise lacking. It's a quick walk from home and I really wanted to like it, but after about 10 visits, it consistently disappoints. The food is just OK. Presentation can be spartan and flavor can be bland. Portions are somewhat small, especially given the prices. My biggest complaint is with the service, which is always a little cold and not particularly attentive. I always feel like I'm eating where the popular kids work and I'm not one of them.

I started coming here in 2016 when I lived a block over on Juniper. I would come at least once a week with my dog and sit on the patio. I love sitting at their bar too when I’d go with friends. This honestly is my favorite Mexican restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants all—around in San Diego. The crispy chicken and beef tacos are my favorite and their Palomas are the best. It’s just cute, friendly, welcoming and very good food.

I have been here many times and only had one item that I didn't like (tostada). Tacos and burritos and good. Service is consistently good. There is in door and outdoor seating. It is a great local go to for Mexican food.

I went on Friday night for some Incredible carnitas, returned on Sunday for their brunch which is as good as it gets. Service at the bar is awesome. Smokey Pina is my new favorite drink. Been pretty disappointed in all other Mexican restaurants I've tried since I moved back to San Diego but I've found my new hot spot. Really nice setting and parking isn't a problem in this neighborhood.
