Nice Thai restaurant up in university heights/north park area! Delicious.food, but didn't get to choose spice level, bit it was still great! Ginger chicken and young coconut tom yum soup, plus.cold sake!!! Can't go wrong. Parking can be tricky but they are a bit off the main drag area, so it wasn't awful. The place is nice, clean, smelled great!!!
This place is an absolute gem for Thai food. This place has raised the bar for Thai food in Sandiego. We eat a lot of Thai around here and this place has a very nice vibe to it.
To be mindful when you order the spice levels. We had at 6 and 7 and spice level was pretty good at that level.
Ordered - papaya salad, pad Thai noodles, cashew with tofu, red curry and kaprow with minced chicken.
Everything was delicious, full of flavour. Perfect balance of sweetness from coconut milk and the spice. A well balanced palate.
Portion size is good for one person!
Smooth, warm and very zen ambience. We got late for our reservation by 10min but they did manage to keep our table for us
Recommend to get a reservation since it can get very busy on a weekend !
4.5/5
This place did not disappoint! Good thai food is something my girlfriend and I are always looking for and this place hit the spot. The vibes were great inside. It was our first time trying Miang Kham and now we can't stop talking about it. The flavors were delicious and worked so well together.
This place also does not skimp on the spice, which we like. We ordered a 6/10 and we were definitely feeling it. The spicy noodles and red curry were great and packed with tons of flavor. Definitely want to come back to try something else.
When seeking great Thai food in San Diego this place raised the bar! Their plastic chairs could have been more comfortable and water service was below average.
My only complaint is with the city. We don't live close so we had to drive here. Crossing the street from where we parked was super dangerous!! There were ZERO cross walks for miles! Why do we make our cities so unwalkable! Even if we lived within walking distance the crossing hazard remains. We would only have been safe if we shared the same city block as this establishment.
The braised beef was one the best meals I've had in my life. Spicy Noodle (Drunken Noodle) was also very good. Very friendly wait staff.
In terms of flavor and quality, this is the top Thai place that I've found in San Diego. Everything on the "Chef's specials" section of the menu seems to, genuinely, be something special.
The service is perfectly adequate. Their decor is maybe a little bit nicer than the average Thai hole-in-the-wall but it's outstripped by the quality of the food. I think their main issue is that they don't have enough space in the restaurant to lay things out nicely.
I think they should try to upgrade to being a more upscale place, based on the quality of their food.
Tried their spicy noodles, and despite the seemingly basic name, it's far from ordinary. A spice level of 4 was perfect for us, featuring a blend of various pepper flavors and, of course, the signature basil found in Thai cuisine. Highly recommended!
The food portions are just right, ensuring you don't leave feeling overly full. Plan on spending around 20 bucks per person here.
The server exudes charisma and is exceptionally nice! Combined with a pleasant atmosphere, I would definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try.
Favorite local Thai spot! Ordered the Pad Thai this time, but the Pad See Ew and curries are also excellent. Great vegan options, the vegan duck is delicious! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly service.
Had their spicy noodles.. don't let the basic sounding dish name fool you-it is anything but. A 4 on the spicy scale was perfect for us, it is infused with many pepper tastes and of course, Thai food's signature basil. Would highly recommend!
Food is portioned to be just enough, and you won't leave feeling too full. Expect to spend about 20 bucks a person here.
The server has a charisma about her. Just so nice! Coupled with a nice atmosphere, I would defo recommend everyone to try this place out.
AMAZING! Fantastic little spot hidden away on Adam’s Avenue that many don’t seem to know about. Hands down, the best Thai food for miles around. Superb food. Superb presentation.
