The service, food and sangria were superb! Not to mention the nice ambiance for a chill date or a night out with the girls; the music is not too loud so it's easy to hold conversations. Will be returning for sure!

We have been coming to the establishment for many years and we love the new menu additions. The wine is always a delicious surprise. This time we try the Romanian red wine and the Croatian white wine. The meal was simply incredible and we love the waiting staff. Christian, the owner, is knowledgeable and incredibly talented with his vision of food and wine

My friend and I came here looking for a quiet little wine bar and this place did not disappoint! They had a fun wine list and we tried wines from different countries like Georgia. The food was delicious and unique. It had a cozy home cooked vibe. The staff was so nice and sincere. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit San Diego. Thank you!

A group of friends and I hosted an engagement celebration here a few weeks ago and cannot commend the venue on how easy they made it for us- they let us take over the back corner of the space and let us decorate and set up as we needed. Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout, always making us feel attended to. Would highly recommend using this location for your small private events! Will definitely be back in the future!

Can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place yet! Wet Stone is a lovely little neighborhood wine bar with an array of tapas options. They have some great traditional and experimental wines including a flight with 3 tastes of nice selections presented in test tubes. The tapas options have Mediterranean and Peruvian influences, and were very good. Tasty pita bread. Nice ambience and great music. You can sit outside, inside, or inside by the big window. Communal tables facilitate conversation. My one suggestion is they might consider upgrading their audio system, which I only say because the music was bomb. Excellent service. Will be back!

What a great find! Went here after a Sunday matinee in Balboa Park. Street parking in a late Sunday afternoon was easy. Shared a cheese, meat and fruit board and a bottle of our favorite kind of wine (Chilean Carmenere). Super romantic. Perfect end to our weekend! Will def be back!

It’s so hard for me to express how much I love this place! My friends also definitely agree; one’s even a regular here. We ordered during happy hour every one of the appetizers and a couple of entrees. My friend’s favorite was the guava quesadilla, my favorite was the hummus with pomegranate seeds, and the native who frequents here is a big fan of the bacon wrapped dates. I’m from out of town and have eaten at so many places but this venue has become my top favorite. The vibes, the wine selections, the music, the service, the flavors in the food—all of which made it a complete package.

So cozy and comfortable with great wine selection and shareable plates! We loved the charcuterie board with cheese and fruits. Great wine recommendations if you’re unsure what to get.

This place is awesome. I've been 2 or 3 times now. The decor is really cute. The food and drinks are great (I love the red sangria - if you like a hint of cinnamon in your sangria you'll like this one!). And the owner is so kind and welcoming. Can't wait to keep going back!
