Coconut Thai Asian Bistro

Amazing authentic thai food right on Mission Beach. Owners are very nice and inviting. Came here for lunch and the food was so good, came back for dinner. Red curry is excellent, but careful it may be spicy for some. Crab puffs were delicious too! 👍🏻 Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

This place is really special! Excellent mom and pop authentic thai restaurant. The food is fresh, tastes phenomenal and is priced well. Watti, one of the nice people who works there is just delightful! Helpful, kind and fun! Watti makes it a lovely experience. Gorgeous intimate environment with thoughtfully done murals and statues. The veggie wide noodle spice #2 and pineapple fried rice are super yummy!!! I'm going to order more to go next time. I was visiting the area twice in last month and came back both times to Coconut Thai. I will be back when I'm in town next to enjoy again and get extra food to take home with me. The Jasmine tea is also delicious! Thank you! :)

These are the nicest people that my friend and I have met in San Diego, when we took a trip there last week. We came from Texas. They treated us with respect and they were very sincere. The owner was very kind, courteous and attentive to us. The portion sizes were fine. I don't know why anyone would complain about that, unless they eat like a total wilderbeast. This restaurant will fill you up. We ate there 3 days in a row, just before we left.. and their Peanut Sauce!! Omg!! I have tried the Peanut Sauce in every Asian restaurant that I have been to across the country. Coconut Thai Asian Bistro has the best Peanut Sauce that I have ever tried hands down. They should really bottle that stuff up and sell it. It is amazing. They get 5 stars for Timing, Great food, Pricing, cleaniness, Courtesy, Respect, Patience, etc. I haven't found anything wrong with this restaurant and I will be back when I return to San Diego.

My only regret is that I live in Arizona and cannot come regularly. I had the red curry, my wife had yellow curry and our daughter had sweet and sour chicken stir fry and they were all good. They use very fresh vegetables. I highly recommend this place. I have never had red or yellow curry this good. The waitress was very friendly.

Great place! Staff amazing ! Very comfort feeling !! Omg Curry’s were amazing!! The taste is so authentic!!!! We are locals here and San Diego this is now our new Thai place!!!! Food is amaaziinngggg!! You won’t be My daughter got the orange chicken special! I got the sausage curry yellow...my mom got the pad chai noodles I think they were called ! My dad got the chicken curry whooooo!! Amazing! We also got the bananas for desert! They were delicious just as everything else!!
