Delicious and healthy vegan and vegetarian food in a cute neighborhood! We ordered the vegan meatloaf with nachos with vegan cheese, vegan mashed potatoes and gravy, little beet Pattie’s with salad and brown rice, vegan apple pie, vegan chocolate mouse cake, and vegan chocolate chip cookie. Everything was spectacular! Top favorite in San Diego!!

Super friendly staff, great outdoor seating and very dog friendly. Large menu, with a variety of options. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free. There’s a reason this place has been here for nearly 40 years. The vegan neatloaf is great, So is the beyond burger. Mashed potatoes and gravy is an amazing side to have with the sandwiches.

The food was so delicious and the staff were very friendly! I really love the gorgeous Indian-style design. Been to this restaurant today and it has the best vegan foods, plus, The Salad was Delicious!!! Both ladies who work are very friendly and knowledgeable!!

This place is very warm and inviting. It feels clean and it feels spiritual or enlightened kind of like a feeling of being at a yoga place. It was a very good Ambience to have eaten here. I had a salad that was pretty tasty with tempeh bacon and I would definitely get that again. I was breaking a fast and I was starving so I decided to also get the vegan burrito. The vegan burrito was okay but then again I am used to more traditional Mexican foods. I would not get the burrito again. Overall I would definitely come back again as I had a good experience. Just come prepared if you pay your credit card they charge you 3% upcharge

Very peaceful place with multicuisine lots of vegan vegetarian options. We have shiva wrap, reuben sandwich , nachos amd moussecake- all of them tasted pretty good. Portion sizes are big so order accordingly. Service pretty good with friendly people.

We came in midday during the week and were the only table sat in the restaurant with a few other customers coming in for pickup/to go orders. The server was attentive but not overbearing and had good recommendations based on our questions.
It was my first visit and got the popular neatloaf plate and was very happy with my choice. It reminded me of a mix between meatloaf and stuffing which are two things I love to eat.

The oldest vegan vegetarian restaurant in San Diego. Must try the staples like the neatloaf, and the delicious soups they make daily. They have assigned parking next to the building. Specials are awesome and worth to try. They don’t serve alcohol and its make me very happy. Overall a relaxing experience with great people and food.

This is actually my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to as a vegetarian. It has such a soft atmosphere, the servers are all so kind, and the food is incredible and unique. It’s like if you had a vegan grandma and she made you a home-cooked meal. My favorite is the Rama Bowl. The neatloaf and the turkey wrap never disappoint either.

Excellent! This place has an amazing selection of salads, wraps, sandwiches, juices... all vegetarian. Prices are very reasonable. The service was awesome. Food is delicious. I selected a pesto portabella wrap... excellent! Can't wait to go back. On our way out we noticed a parking lot for next time.

Jyoti always has amazing soups and tonight was no exception. We had the peanut butter veggies and chickpea lentil - both scrumptious. The Indian food special was exceptional. The staples the rest of us got never disappoint.
We were celebrating two birthdays and when we ordered cake with candles, it was on the house. And delicious. Granted, one of the birthday girls is a serious regular, so don't expect the same. But do go. Good portions, good prices, good vibe.

I’ve been going to Jyoti since I was little, I’m currently 25 and the vegan neatloaf has always been my go-to! The food is high quality & delicious while the staff are genuinely kind & thoughtful! The environment is very welcoming yet calming. I’m also IN LOVE with their apple pie (it’s vegan also)! It’s the perfect combination of sweet and soft! I love this restaurant so much!!

Very nice place. We have visited the San Francisco spot in the past and the experience was similar. Food was very good, and I personally really liked the fact that the food was not very salty, the desert was not too sweet - the balance was great. Vegetarian food was very filling and i didn't feel like anything was missing. Plus, it was light, I had nonheartburn, no food coma aftee. Very peaceful atmosphere, which is a plus. I would return, and warmly reccomend it as a great vegetarian experience. Oh, and they have assigned parking spots, which is a great plus for San Diego.

Went for Sunday buffet with friends! Hard to fit 6 people outside. Some locals got mad about their smaller pathway. Just come and enjoy a great spread! Locals and all.
