This is not a typo. They serve gelato. They serve the best gelato I've ever had! This place is designed to keep the historic preservation. If it is your first time LET THEM KNOW. They give you the tour of the taste buds. I swear to the gods that even if you are on the fence about it GO. The taste bud tour is enough to fill you up and it's free. If you didn't like it. There's other stores around to tantalize ur buds. By the way my favorite was the banana chocolate and espresso orange.
This is probably the most amazing ice cream experience I have had in California!
The shop is titled as a dry cleaner but it’s also an ice cream store with unique flavors.
Upon entering, the server greeted with a smile and gave me an ice cream tour that consisted of 7 ice cream tastings.
I had the Rosemary and Olive oil flavor which was fantastic!
Parking is a little tough in this area but do visit this place for the experience. 5 stars.
I had a fantastic experience at An's Dry Cleaning ice cream shop. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the ice cream was absolutely delicious. What set them apart was that they allowed me to sample all seven of their rotating flavors, ensuring I found the perfect one. I wholeheartedly give them a 5 out of 5 rating, with a strong emphasis on their outstanding customer service.
The most creative ice cream store I've ever visited. Don't expect ordinary flavors. They have rotating flavors and they let you do a tour through all of them to see which you like best. They all taste amazing. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for an ice cream place.
The best gelato or ice cream related scoops I have had in my life. Super creative flavors, and although the "flavor tour" adds time to the wait in line, it is very cute and opens your eyes to flavors you probably wouldn't have thought you'd like. Was in San Diego for 5 days and went 3 times!
tried 4 flavors, the Qipao and Sashiko were the standouts. they were all good though, and you are allowed to get samples if you want.
Came back a second time, as expected all the flavors were different. Still just as good an experience as before

An’s gelato is the shiiiiiiiizzzzzz. I moved here 4 months ago and have been at least 5 times.
Out first experience visiting An’s - we got really lucky, there was no line, and Tate (super friendly, and awesome every time) took us on the flavor tour of flavor tours. We felt so welcome and loved every single thing we tried (everytime).
I recommend everyone try everything you can - there is always something for everyone (including vegan and gluten free options) AND if vegan gelato is not your thing - you should still try it because it’s also delicious and you’ll be wondering how they’ve done it.
Excited to continue to visit both An’s and trying new flavors. So far my favorites have been the super pistachio who’s name escapes me now but started with a V, cashmere, and the blueberry waffley one which I also forgot the name of (oops). I hope to one day maybe see a burnt honey situation.
The ice cream and the ambience were great! Apparently this used to be a dry cleaning place, but the ice cream place just ran with the old design. It's very quirky and fun. The only thing is that you should go there with time to spare, since lines are usually long and incredibly slow-moving. The staff are super kind and encourage you to try every flavor. It's super welcoming! It just does make for a long wait time. If you have the time, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Oh and be warned! The flavors they offer are fantastic and unique, but they rotate every once in a while, so always be on the lookout for new flavors! (And the unfortunate rotations of some of your favorites. C'est la vie!)
Great customer experience! Getting to sample all of their flavors was amazing. Specially their olive oil and rosemary flavor, would’ve never order it just from reading the menu but ended up getting that with the Tweed. The staff was super friendly and overall a fun time. Check them out for great ice cream!
The ice cream at this place is excellent! Definitely worth a visit, they let you try any / all of the flavors. Very unique combinations of flavors. I had the Cypress (Midnight Chocolate) and the Fedora (think Tiramisu!), the combo of both of them were delicious.
