Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria

Lefty's very well may be the best pizza in San Diego. You can order by the delicious slice, or by the delectable pie. The time and dedication given by the fellows at this restaurant is unmatched and it shows. You taste the love, passion and flavors in each bite I ordered one thin and crispy slice and one chicago slice. Meatball, pepperoni, and sausage and pepperoni respectably; ordering one partially cooked meaty pie with extra black olives to go on my trip back home. They have a sign in the shop that says additional toppings will be added ~generously~. They weren't joking and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. Serious props to what these people can really dish out. And it is not just deep dish. Thank you so much for wonderful experience, service and unforgettable food!

I just wanted to let it be known when you get a pizza from this place. It is the real deal! I tend to go to one specific pizza place, because fast food pizza places are pretty lame in my opinion. They make it for the masses not with love. This was my first experience coming to Lefty’s I’ve already shared my stuffed pizza with two people whom also thoroughly enjoyed it. My family is from Chicago so we know all about deep dish pizzas. I called and asked how long it took. He told me 40 minutes I wasn’t even skeptical because that’s typically how long a pie cooks in Chicago. It was delivered, and I was so happy that it literally felt like it weighed a ton 😂(which means it was loaded with nothing but great toppings)‼️ Then I could only get through one slice of the pepperoni, Italian beef and sausage stuffed pizza before I was super full! When I called, the guys were very nice, I told him my name and he let me know all about which choices and to go look online for more options. He let me know he was glad that I decided to try them out. They were very professional, the pizza was delivered to me in about an hour m, hot cheesy, gooey and freaking delicious. I recommend anyone to go to this place not just because the customer service is stellar but because the food is as well. Big props to you guys. Thank you again. I will be back to try many other things with my family and friends really soon .🙂

So long story short… A dude moves to sunny San Diego in 2023 and then gets a job, and he’s trained by me. Then we become friends and he later decides to buy me deep dish pizza for lunch. We take our lunch break and race over to 30th St to pick this food up. This is my first time ever having deep dish pizza. It was insanely good and more than filling!!
