All you can eat sushi
This is one of my top 3 places to go for all you can eat sushi in San Diego. The sushi is always so fresh!
The sushi is good and the place itself has a very nice, inviting atmosphere. My waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. I got all you can eat and the variety of new unique rolls was refreshing. Overall a great place to get sushi.

AYCE SUSHI ! RB Sushi has three locations in San Diego including Rancho Bernado, College Area and Hillcrest. Among the three, it seemed like Bernado one is the most popular one so we gave it a try for our dinner. Unlike other AYCE sushi restaurants, the quality of sushi here is decent and there is a variety of special rolls available you can choose. Keep it mind that the special roll is served in a full size so that you might don't want to order too much. In the end, two of us finished 60 nigiri sushi and 4 special rolls, but it was only possible because we are big eaters. HOUSE SALAD SASHIMI SALAD SEAWEED SALAD We got HOUSE SALAD, SASHIMI SALAD and SEAWEED SALAD for our appetizers. They all tasted really good with flavourful salad dressing. While sashimi salad had light sesame dressing, house salad came with vinaigrette orange dressing. Top: HAMACHI, Middle: ESCOLAR and SEARED TUNA (CAJUN), Bottom: ATLANTIC SALMON We were starving by the time we arrived so we ordered a lot for our first round. One order of sushi contains 2 pieces. We probably had 40 pieces of nigiri for a start. Yea.. we eat a lot. Our favourite was ESCOLAR and UNI NIGIRI SUSHI. You get to have only one order of Uni since it is pricey. But as they have regular menu as well, you can add some more if you want. The quality was pretty decent but it was not consistent as 2 pieces were somewhat overly mushy containing broken eggs. As Kim insisted we got a DYNAMITE ROLL. It was completely different that I used to have in Vancouver. Instead of having prawn tempura, avocado and cucumbers only, the "American" version of dynamite roll had crab meat, cucumbers and avocado inside, topped with masago and baked assorted sashimi. The unagi sauce and mayo on top gave a full flavovur. We loved it so much! My friend Kim really liked how the roll had big chunks of baked sashimi on top while other places have smaller pieces only. All-You-Can-Eat!. Love their All-you-can-eat! What a great deal with only around $30 with tips.
They have some of the fresh-iest Sashimi: salmon, uni, halibut...etc. Their Salmon Kama is also good too.
I was surprised that no one ever talked about this great sushi place before. Definitely worth the drive!

Monday is the best day here!. Went with my daughter about 4 PM because the Indian restaurant buffet in the same center was closed...and what a GREAT treat. We love sushi and have eaten in all the best places in San Diego and this was definitely at the TOP of the list! RB Sushi has a terrific deal on Mondays...an extensive list of creative rolls (don't miss the UFO) and none were over $8. A similar but not quite as wonderful a deal is from 9 - 12 PM on Friday nights. Don't miss the MONDAY SPECIAL!!!
Best sushi I have ever had. Roll selection very unique. Wish i had this restaurant back home. Got the "hole in 1 roll".
I've been to RB Sushi four times now, and each time was fantastic.
Located in Rancho Bernardo right by the 15, RB Sushi has a great assortment of sushi to choose from. I love all of the creative specialty rolls alongside the classic rolls and nigiri sushi. They also offer rice dish options as well as noodle dishes - ramen and yakisoba - if someone in your party isn't feeling sushi.
This weekend, my boyfriend and I ordered a lemon roll, a pink roll, a cucumber roll, a salmon roll, and a Gyoza. Everything was fantastic, as always. The fish was fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly, and overall, the service was top-notch.

RB Sushi was our go-to sushi place and we don't mind driving down for half an hour when I lived in SoCal. We enjoyed so many lunches and dinners with friends and family on their AYCE menu for years.
Came back after some time and they offer ala-carte now, which I don't mind because it's still delicious - you just pay a little bit extra. I feel like we enjoy the food more that its not AYCE anymore.
Service was still great as it used to. Servers are attentive and always checks up on us.
I recommend lemon roll, rainbow roll, popcorn zarigani and dynamite.
Warning: they charge for leftovers here! It's a great place for all-you-can-eat. They have lots of options and the flavor isn't that bad. Service is also very nice. Their ice cream is a bit sweet in case you're used to the more subtle green tea ice cream. Cool place and recommended for you if you want to eat a lot of sushi, as long as you finish it!
RB Sushi has always had a great reputation. I have not been in 5 years because I live in the downtown area of SD. It's still amazing and delicious! Will definitely be making the drive back for the quality.
Great little sushi place, usually very busy, but we came fairly early in the evening and were sitted right away.
We ordered sashimi, which was excellent, very buttery taste!
The shrimp soup was huge, so we had to take half of it home. It can feed two people for sure!
We also ordered chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side, it was excellent as well!

Quite nice. Very friendly and caring service - a real pleasure (thanks!). Tasty sushi on an all-you-can-eat deal for $24 with tax. The deal allows you to choose from pretty much anything on the entire menu, including appetizers and tempura - so lots of freedom to experiment and satisfy different interests. Numerous creative options are available: some spicy and bursting with bold flavors, others mild and delicate - all the traditional favorites and specialty options too. The rice in my rolls was just a touch dry, but not distracting as such, so maybe that will improve on another visit. The real bonus, however, was that rolls were quick to reach the table - typically about 5 minutes or so from time of order (much appreciated). For a lunch-break endeavor on on a work day, speed is going to be an important issue, especially for AYCE value. Lunchtime (at 12:30pm on a Tuesday) remained steady at about 30-40% capacity, and they maintained these service speeds throughout my time there. Inside it is dimly lit and refreshingly cool (I love that, but some might be chilled - so, bring a light sweater or something if you chill easily) - otherwise no discomfort here, even when drinking hot tea and eating spicy rolls. Booths were also comfortably spacious. Kudos. Rolls are somewhat small, but I thought this was a good thing for AYCE - since it gives you better opportunity to try more things. Overall, for my first visit, I was pleasantly impressed. I look forward to a return visit sometime soon.
They were extremely busy on a late Friday afternoon and busier still when I left. Service was still excellent (at sushi bar) and the rolls were great. I will say that the rolls were not super tight but were nonetheless enjoyable. All the fish was fresh, in great condition (not pieces, healthy slabs), and had great color.

I love this place! Good vibes, good food, and excellent service 😁... I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. Their AYCE is decently priced with a lot of options to choose from. Come check them out! Some pictures of the food both on the regular and AYCE menu 😊
Great food - we shared several rolls, sesame chicken, and dumplings - but be aware that all-you-can-eat is no longer an option :(
