Was walking by and saw they’re offering a Quarantine Special allowing you to bake your own pizza at home. Not sure if they offer this all the time but it is a steal of a deal and hopefully they offer it in the future. Honestly enough material to make 4 pizzas for 2 people to share all for $20. Way better than any frozen pizza deal. Taste is amazing and it was FUN building our own pizza.

Great NY style thin crust greasy pizza by the slice. Good draught beer along with bottled options. Very friendly nice staff. Can hook your dog's leash to the outdoor hooks and watch them right from the other side of the windows which are open. Overall really great spot 👍👍

This place was great! We got in on a late flight and were able to come here to get a quick late night bite. It was laid back, quiet and we were able to catch the Padres game. They accidentally put mushrooms on our pizza and corrected the problem before we even knew about it and then gave us the pizza that was made With the mushrooms to take home. My husband enjoyed their beer selection as well. Great spot!

The guy who was working the counter/ phone was super nice.
I had a lemon bar that was simply divine. It was super tart and fresh with a great crust.
Will definitely be making this my new local pizza spot

Visited here with my husband and son a couple days ago. It was a short walk from our hotel but we didn't stop by until the last day of our vacation-- big mistake! The man working the counter was super friendly and nice! We each got a slice and got an Oreo cheesecake to share. The pizza was crispy and delicious. I'll be craving this pizza until our next trip to the beach 😂

Not normally in the OB area, so had never heard of this place, but was glad I was in the mood for pizza. The slices are big, making the 2 slice lunch special nice and filling. I happened to arrive right as a pizza was coming out of the oven. I don't normally prefer thin crust pizza, but this was delicious, not flaky or dry, and very easy to fold and eat. Service was great, employees where very polite to me and everyone else that came in during the duration of my stay. Definitely will return the next time I find myself in OB!

Really tasty thin crust pizza at an affordable price! I live just a couple of blocks away so it's great to just jog on over and grab a large cheese pie to go. We used to dine in when they were dog friendly but since the remodel they no longer welcome dogs. (Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars)

LOVED this place. Totally a San Diego secret! Tucked away in a neighborhood! BEST pizza crust. Crispy but not too thin. I enjoyed 2 pieces and a great IPA for $10 something. I will for sure go back.

Best desserts in the area! Oreo cheesecake, lemon cookies, everything is delicious. Only complaint is about the pizza. It's usually pretty good, but can be a little on the dry side when you order by the slice towards the end of the day. The Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak is my favorite!

One of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Got 2 pies, 1 veg and 1 Buffalo chicken. The price was justified for the pizza quality and size. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get quality pizzas.

The sandwiches here are pretty decent. Depending on when you go you can get a good variety of the slices. I recommend getting a whole pie made to order, that's the best bet. There brewed teas are really good and their brownies are ridiculous. It's a great spot to swing by after taking your dog to the beach to grab a bite.

The Surf Rider Special is my favorite pizza in all of San Diego. Super thin crust, high quality ingredients and really good desserts to go. Everyone that works there is very friendly and laid back.

This place went from great tell all your friend's to what happened dont go there. Pizza slices went from fresh and tastety to I know this pizza is definitely a day or two old. Everyone knows what reheated day old pie tastes like. It went from a number of great visits to three or four in a row give it another chance visits which were poor. Service was great every time.

The pizza was hands down the best. We grabbed an oreo cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, pumpkin roll and ding dong cupcake for our 5.5 hr drive home. The cupcake and pumpkin roll didn't make the ride home :) We are just now digging into our cheesecake and they are both just as delicious. Great customer service too. We will be back again and again.

Been here a few times. Always reliable quality. I have had the o.b. deluxe, the surf rider garlic and a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom... all real good. Thin handtosses crispy crust... Yum. Good desserts too. Staff is super friendly. Check it out.

I have to say this was seriously some good pizza! I had looked you up prior to our vacation ended up somewhere else for my nieces birthday dinner. Fortunately enough they were closed... we then entered Surf Rider pizza! My niece picked the pizzas jalapeno yes cilantro wasn't too sure but OMG...It was amazing! Until next time. Oh yeah we went back the next day for salads to take to the beach!
The service... excellent both times! If you haven't been here trust me you have to try it. Your location from our hotel excellent!
