Bj's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I ordered from DoorDash craving the deep dish nachos and the wedge salad , in the past there always seemed to be something over cooked or burned so called the restaurant to make sure it would come to me as if I was sitting there . Savannah took my call very sweet and understanding she said she would relay my extras to the kitchen and make sure my nachos weren’t burnt and looked great before they were sent out . My order came super fast and the order was Perfect the nachos looked amazing and tasted delicious the wedge salad with extra cheese was also so delicious didn’t want to share it . Thank you Savannah for making my door dash order a priority and sent with love . Happy holidays 10/10

What can I said, just one of the best beers in town. San Diego is well know for having lots of microbreweries but We know BJs is a well brand, and most of the restaurants chains don’t offer good local beers but to be honest this is one of the best places and best beer ever taste since Gordon’s close their doors. I usually have a pirana but my significant other loves the chula, they don’t just offer the best in house beer but they have tons of different options. Nice please to have a beer and a snack.

Went with the FAM to enjoy a good meal and have a few drinks. I ordered the avocado sliders to start off and those were good. I also ordered a flight that consisted of BJ brews and it was pretty cheap at 8 dollars. Well drinks were a little pricey. Our server was real cool and took care of us. The reason for the 4 stars is for the fact that it did take time to get our drinks and food and it wasn't even dinner rush.

The food was great, the steak was perfectly cooked and didn't need steak sauce, the cheddar mashed potatoes tasted good, and the chili was good. My brother did say there was a bit too much salt on his sweet potato fries. They had several nonalcoholic beverages, I had their Cream Soda and it tasted good. Our server was great, she came and checked to see how we were doing often and I heard her doing the same with other customers, even striking up a brief conversation with what seemed like a regular. I enjoyed seeing that and hopefully, more places encourage the practice. The atmosphere was amazing, the booth was comfortable, the lighting was nice and the music was alright. They had large TVs in a variety of places for folks to watch sports, they had Golf, Baseball, and Basketball playing.

We ordered a variety of food. My entrée of salmon with asparagus was decent, but nothing to write home about. The texture of the salmon wasn’t cooked that well, passable. The pizza was loaded with toppings, so that was nice. But the pizza itself felt a tad too doughy for me. We tried the avocado egg roll appetizer and I would not recommend, avocado simply does not belong in an egg roll. The texture and taste is not a good match together. The smiley face fries weren’t crunchy or crispy at all, also super doughy. The chicken Alfredo was tasty, but not enough sauce and my friend ended up with food poisoning that night. We aren’t certain if it was because of this dish, but we have our suspicions. The dessert as absolutely delicious, we tried the strawberry shortcake and the macadamia nuts one. I would definitely recommend their dessert. Service was great, our server was very friendly and everything was prompt. Overall experience was not bad. But not my first choice.
