I wrote a long negative review about one year ago, but things have changed for the better.
The lady server who assumed that I was homeless is no longer there, and that makes all the difference.
Now, I'm treated like a human being, my dog is welcomed as long as she behaves, and the food is hearty and tasty.
A new employee named Chris treats Chiva and me like royalty, and we both appreciate him very much.

Got the Brisk-it-all sandwich and it was great, Angel was our server and gave outstanding service. Fast, observant, respectful, always asking and reassuring if we need any refills or other services. I would recommend him to anybody.

Went on thanksgiving day (morning) we had to do some wait, looks like they had a waiting list but it was not a full restaurant. But as soon as we were seated, we had a great experience, our server Angel C was outstanding, super fast and very nice to talk to, he covered all our needs even before we asked to. Food was ok. service was better, will give another chance.

I walked in to get a cup of coffee to go. They had the oldie music playing it was so pleasant and fun . I wanted to stay and eat. I recommend anyone in the San Diego area and by the airport to stop by at this Denny's and have some fun.

I got angel c as my server, he was outstanding! Restaurant was crowded but he made everything look easy,like something natural. Awesome service,will be back for sure.

We had just gotten in town from a long drive from Las Vegas. We stopped in at Denny's and our waiter Alex was very accommodating! He was the only waiter managing at least 6 tables, and he was patient & polite to all the customers. He constantly checked on each table and made sure everyone had what they needed. The wait for the food was not long at all. The food came out hot and perfect! He always refilled the drinks, coffee, & hot water. He was such an amazing waiter, I asked to take a picwith him! I will definitely go back and ask if he's there!

Stopped in the 1601 Rosecrans San Diego, Cali location for a post Humphrey's show (Temps & Four Tops show) din-din/brekkies and was served by Leigh S. Wow, it has been at least 15 years since I've eaten at a Denny's and I gotta say a lot has changed since then. Leigh S is super cool and fun. She served up a double delish Lemonde order for two very parched danced out Temps fans, then brought out our (huge) orders of very particular and precise Grand Slams and meatless Nachos. Leigh S, u rock, baby!! Denny's, get to work in ur labs and clone this glitter unicorn of a server! She is as sweet as the night is long...hey, wait, the night is short now that the days r long...whatev, this girl is the real deal and that food is great! The location can't be beat for post Humphrey's post show hunger pangs...and were those the Four Tops at the window booth? Wow...star struck! Good food, better service and those prices---can't beat 'em with two drum sticks!

I haven't been to Denny's in a while but I have to admit their dishes were excellent....And they had great veggie meals also. We plan on going every Thursday for breakfast now.

Went there for breakfast. The waiter never refilled my drink or checked on me the entire time. The lady at the register was in her cell phone with a personal call as she rung me up. I usually tip well but due feeling conflicted, I left a couple dollars which he truly didn't deserve. The food arrived quickly and hot though.

Breakfast on the go<br/><br/>We stopped for a quick breakfast to start off our day. The food at this “always open” restaurant was tasty and nutritious, albeit a little too rich in calories, and came out quickly.

Went here and tried their pumpkin pie shake which was delicious and we got extra..The sizzling veggies dish with eggs was filling as well, and so were the pancakes..
