So, honestly the best pizza I've ever had, was at a place in Vancouver, bc... that being said, this place was a very close 2nd!! Amazing pizza, great friendly service and good prices for what you get!! Overall, definitely recommend if you're visiting San Diego!
I travelled down to San Diego from the IE for my birthday. I'm originally from East Haven/New Haven Ct. I miss the pizzas on Wooster St in New Haven. So I thought I would try this place. I had a sausage and pepper pie. The taste of the apizza brought me right back to the finest Italian pizza restaurant in CT... Sallys..Modern.. Frank Pepes...The Spot. You can taste the coal fired dough. Crust is thin, foldable and charred. With the addition of Foxon Park Soda from East Haven (White Birch) you experience total New Haven pizza experience. The owner is from Hamden CT. Not New York style...but New Haven style...and yes there is a difference. Thank you URBN of North Park for bringing me "home" again! Thanks for the memory!
I ordered a large red pie through a delivery service and I was really impress with the size. It was as big as my kitchen table, and delicious. They let you add different toppings on each half of the pizza, and the cost of the pie plus the toppings was around 30$.
The pizza was tasty and the crust was really nice (I love crust!)
I will definitely eat here again.
Second time coming here and we still love the pizza! This time we got the peppered salami. The name is a bit deceiving - it's salami and spicy peppers - not the black ground peppers. They put a decent amount of salami. It's slightly not because the peppers.
We ordered again the brussel sprouts and this time, I wasn't a fan - it had too much gorgonzola.
This place was great! This was my first time going here and my friends and I loved it! We had a really nice waitress, the one with the really big butt. And the food was really good and you get a TON. Like a whole salad is like 4 servings. It was $20 and I ate the whole bowl. It was a really delicious pear and gorgonzola salad. I had a slice of my friends vegan pizza which was good, a couple chicken wings and some off the charcuterie board. All good quality food and you get a LOT for the price. Be prepared to share! The large pizzas are ginormous and the small pizzas are more like a medium. Big place, lots of space, nice atmosphere and they have a bar with beer and cocktails. We have agreed we're going here again!
We drive by this place a lot. But this is the first time we come to check it out because my husband wanna eat pizza. The most surprising thing is that the pizza’s size is giant!!! Their pizza has two size options, small or large. We saw the price and thought large should be a normal size, but, it is amazingly super big! The taste of the pizza is super delicious, my husband is half Italian and he’s really happy about it. We built our own pizza, red sauce with pepperoni and salami with broccoli and bell peppers. We also loved their urbn salad. I recommend here for sure.
If you happen to be in North Park, this place is a must to visit. Margarita Pizza, Vegan Pizza and the URBN Salad was delicious 😋
Spencer is highly professional and knowledgeable.
🙏 Thank you so much.
So very damn delicious. Cool space and vibe -super chill. The mashed potato bacon pizza was something I thought we could only get back home in Portland, ME at OTTOS - SHOUT-OUT BEST PIZZA EVER by far tho if you get the chance to go ever you need to go. They have a really good happy hour here, some unique and local drinks, and the pizza and wings were truly scrumptious. Service was good.
We came here during our vacation to San Diego and this is by far some of the best pizza we had had in a very long time! Our server Joe was attentive and had great recommendations! Will definitely eat here again when back in San Diego!
The pizza was astoundingly good (we had the white pie with garlic and chicken) and enormously large. Service was so lovely and friendly, really caring and fun. The beer was also awesome (we tried Urbn blond). Overall a great night 👍
Potato pizza and a Mai Tai. The perfect lunch. Joe and Theresa are always super nice and always make me feel welcomed.
Finally visited Urbn and I think that might have been the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered the Roni Bee (red pizza, pepperoni, jalapeños, spicy honey) and, dang it was delicious. Bartender named Spencer waited on us and he was excellent too. Couple glasses of happy hour red and we’ll definitely be back.
