I am delighted with my experience at this Italian restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was transported to Italy with a warm ambiance and friendly staff. The food was extraordinary; each dish burst with authentic flavors that joyfully made my taste buds sing. The attention to detail in every plate was evident, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to traditional Italian cuisine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, sauces were rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and made the entire dining experience even more delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in San Diego. In my opinion, this establishment undoubtedly deserves the title of the best Italian restaurant in town.

Total bill was around $63, including tip, for one person. I went on a weekday to avoid the crowd. I was seated within 10 minutes. the hosts and waiter were nice and respectful. The food was amazingly good (one of the best Italian restaurants so far). All the food I order was good, but my favorite were the free bread and the potatoes that came with the chicken I ordered. The coconut drink was delicious as well. I’ll definitely be back to try the pasta and the tiramisu.

Cesarina is hard to beat. With its homemade pasta, seasonal menu offerings and homey feel, it's the ultimate expression of great Italian food. Best of the best when it comes to San Diego's dining options. I am always confident in recommending Cesarina to friends, family and visitors of San Diego. They also did a great job decorating for the holidays!

One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Couldn’t find one flaw with this place. Everything is carefully thought out from the dinnerware to the food and service. Very impressive. We even received lap warmers while we were eating outside. Thank you to our server John who did an amazing job. We also had a very lovely girl serving us as well but I cannot remember her name. Thank you for the amazing night.

One of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in San Diego. I really love the restaurant’s decoration and the food is also amazing! My favorite dish is the burrata salad (so delicious and so fresh). Their service is 10/10!! Our server is very friendly and thoughtful. Since it was our anniversary, they gave us the tiramisu dessert on the house! My experience at Cesarina was awesome. Will definitely come back!!

10/10 food is delicious but it is pricey. It’s worth it through. The octopus was one of my favorite dishes ever. The outside was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside with this delicious sauce and mashed potato on the bottom. The pasta was perfectly cooked and I left feeling SO full. I wanted to have vegan tiramisu but I ate too much and forgot to save space lol I’m coming back.

We intentionally chose Cesarina to celebrate my oldest’s birthday as he and my wife had enjoyed this restaurant on an earlier visit and wanted to introduce me to its wonderful menu. We made reservations and dined on the outside patio on the back side. Our waiter was excellent and the pace of our evening was perfect. The food was great and the highlight of the evening was the birthday celebration in which a waiter created at the table side, a birthday Taramisu complete with candle and Polaroid picture. It was a wonderful evening and this was one of our favorite restaurants during our stay.

This was my favorite place we ate at in San Diego. (Ocean Beach) The food, service, drinks, atmosphere.... all absolutely phenomenal. The bread you start with was fantastic and addictive. They had a pasta making station where you could sit and watch them make the fresh pasta and outdoor seating that felt like intimate dining. Honestly, every place we ate at after here was 2nd class because this place set the bar so high! 10/10 recommended... send me leftovers!

It is a delightful experience to enjoy dinner at Cesarina. The entrance is decorated with a green wall full of flowers. Seats with high backs offer a private space. All plates have their own character. To the extent that even take out boxes and paper bags are worth collecting. Fried calamari and table side tiramisu are very unique experiences. Not everything is the best, for example, bread is soft but not super tasty. Meatballs can be better. But overall highly recommend it.

I have traveled all over southern Italy, and have always struggled to enjoy Italian food in America since that trip. That all changed today. Cesarina is about as great as it gets when it comes to Italian food in San Diego. They have this great outdoor patio which has a nice ambiance to it, and some of the staff are from Italy so you get that authentic feel! Nice menu, you can get appetizers and salads, the pastas you can pick on your own (vegan options as well) or you can have some pasta dishes that you don’t have to assemble if you want to see what they pair together. I throughly enjoyed the Norma and don’t look past the bread they bring, amazing! This is a great hidden little spot which will firmly be in my rotation of restaurants. Ciao!
