Parking: We stopped by for take out at 7pm on a Tuesday and parking was pretty tough all around. There are a few ADA parking at each parking area.
Ambience: fast pace take out spot with very limited outdoor dining seats. None indoor.
Service: The service was very friendly. We were Contemplating on buying a jar of their hot chili oil and the staff offer a few free along with our take out to try frost and definitely would be purchasing on next visit.

Crispy Fried Calamari - crispy flavorful batter
Crab Fried Rice - good flavors would be better with chunky crab meat than shreds
Bai Grapow w/ Chicken - Amazing! would recommend spicy with white rice
Three Flavored Fish- good flavoring but a bit too saucy.

Overall: Good food and neighborhood location for take out. Not ideal for dinning in or out as many people are lined up all over waiting for their orders.
Ordered by phone and pick up. Foods were delicious and had a good portion. Reasonable price. Downsides are no dine-in and hard to find parking. Overall, we'll be back for pick up order.

The menu has plenty of good options. They're quick about their service, and helpful. The mild isn't spicy at all, which is good for me. The flavor is there, and the portion is large.

Great, flavorful Thai food with generous portions, and nice, endearing service from authentic workers who care about their cuisine. I loved the crab rangoons, pad see ew, Tom yum soup, and pineapple fried rice we ordered from them. They season well. I don't think I'm a spice god, but I didnt find spice level 2-3 honestly that spicy at all.
Unfortunately, parking is very hard to find. you can spend up to 10 mins looking for a spot and then likely have to hazard lights it in a residential area. The restaurant is small without any indoor seating. Sad because wanted to eat here, but there's only a few tables outdoors, and it was mostly crowded by everyone waiting to order or to pick up their food. I would still recommend this place, just for take out or to go. It's a solid place for good, spicy Thai food. Tasted great as leftovers as well!
This San Diego restaurant impressed us with its Garlic Stir Fry with Chicken, Thai Fried Rice with Tofu, and Papaya Salad. The dishes were hot and delicious, but the limited dining space was a drawback. The value for money was great, and we highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're a fan of Asian cuisine.
This place is so dang good. Probably the best Thai food that I've ever had. And they are so, dang, consistently, THAT good.
My go-tos are pad Thai and yellow curry but their fried rices are amazing as well. Try the crab fried rice next time you're trying to switch it up but want a safe winner.

I stopped by here for my lunch a few days ago and wasn't disappointed. I like Thai food and I like it very spicy. Their 5 star is a real 5 star. I've been to Thailand before and spicy over there is on another level. I had the green curry with beef and the crab rangoon which is one of my favorites. If you want some solid Thai food without going to Thailand, check this place out if you're in the area.
Excellent gluten-free and dairy-free options. Menu showed what could be requested for dietary restrictions. Very tasty gluten-free pad thai, flavorful. Parking is street parking and its is more like a take out place. A few seats are outside that are first come first serve. 100% would go again.
We came to San Diego for a little vacation. We got hungry, and we came across this place searching in Google for authentic Thai food. The reviews were great, so we decided to come to Bahn Thai. The food was delicious. I ordered the yellow curry. My wife ordered pad Thai. But watch out for the spice level. Medium has a really nice kick to it. It was spicy, but it was delicious. Customer service was efficient and fast. They were all friendly and respectful. The seating is first-come, first-served. They also have high chairs in case you have children. That was a plus. Once our food was ready, they came out to hand it to us personally. I would definitely return for more.
Take out only. The people are so nice and I love the San diego vibe. My pad Thai had a wonderful little punch of spice, pork was so tender, loved the peanut crumbles, yay for the extra green onion, and the texture of the noodles were great. Only suggestion would be more egg.
