I rarely leave reviews, but this Italian restaurant was too good of an experience to not share with everyone. The service was great and very welcoming. It smelled great walking in and taste even better. The freshness of the clams and flavor is some of the best Italian food I have have in a while. Definitely will be coming back every time I visit San Diego.

Excellent Italian food! Most of the meals are in the $30 range, but they are well worth the price. The chicken marsala was superb! I promise you will not leave disappointed. 10/10

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Venetian. This spot tucked away in Point Loma is a hidden gem for amazing Italian cuisine in San Diego. I made a reservation in advance online, and we were seated right away in a comfy booth. It was pretty busy on a Friday night, but the service was quick and friendly. We started off with free garlic bread which tasted homemade. For an appetizer, we split a caesar salad which was dressed to perfection and was honestly one of the best I have had in San Diego. For my entree, I got the shrimp scampi which was HEAVENLY. The crispy butterflied shrimp on top of thin linguini and buttery sauce created impeccable layers of flavor. My boyfriend got the chicken parm, and that was even better than the shrimp scampi! Fresh ingredients masterfully crafted here - some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy! Definitely recommend for your next date night or special occasion.

We loved our meal here! Everything we ordered was delicious! The cannelloni was the best we’ve ever had. I can’t remember our servers name, but he was awesome! He was attentive, friendly and took great care of us. We aren’t from the area, but would definitely eat here again.

On our first visit on our date night. We came here. We found free parking across the library. We made reservations. It was not needed, got seated right away
I tried the Cannelloni with Marinara . Sauce, it was delicious and big portions. He got the pizza, lots of cheese and toping were delicious.
Our waiter was extremely amazing with answering questions, being attentive and friendly. As we were getting ready to take food he offered to pack everything and offer complimentary tiramisu, it was not the prettiest, but delicious 😋.
The restaurant is not the most beautiful place. Yet is one the best Italian restaurant, reasonable price and welcoming establishment. We will definitely come back.

Always the best, freshest, prepared to order ingredients around. Pizzas are top notch, order a two or three topping pie to savor the flavors. Lasagna like momma makes but without the flying spatulas and insistence on third servings...

I didn't know what to expect coming here after seeing mixed reviews and pictures of the restaurant from the outside and limited street parking, I contemplated going inside until deciding to take a chance. Definitely the best choice dining here!! The servers are kind and attentive. While it may be a bit overpriced the food is absolutely delicious and filling. The clam and mussel's with cream sauce is worth ordering. I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in San Diego! We visited the Venetian restaurant last week and had an amazing pizza and experience. Our waiter, Quinlan, remembered us from our visit three weeks prior and actually remembered the subtleties of how we liked our pizza cooked. Quinlan did everything to make our recent trip perfect. His assistant, Beto, also remembered us and was super friendly once again.

Driving by, this place looks like a hole in the wall type of place. It isn’t.
It is huge inside, with essentially three separate dining areas. Large and small tables are available - it’s perfect for a going away party, which is what we were having.
We ordered four pizzas and a large antipasto. It’s a very thick style of pizza. Everything was great. I was especially fond of the antipasto.
One waitress served our group of 9, and she was excellent. She did a great job keeping our drinks topped off. And always smiling.
Parking available in the street and in the back.

The Venetian Restaurant has friendly staff and really great tasting food!
Started out with fresh garlic bread brought for the table; very fluffy yet toasted bread.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. It comes with a large portion of deliciously breaded chicken, sauce that tasted like it was cooking for days (soooo delicious!) and lots of melty-goodness Parmesan cheese.
I also tried some of their lasagna. It was so huge (see iPhone X for size comparison in picture) and had that same great sauce. You won't be disappointed.
Server was very friendly and attentive without being bothersome. Great service!
I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their delicious menu items.
