Food was excellent I just didn't like that the hostess in the front really didn't greet us ,she automatically just said 18% gratuity like as if we didn't have the money .but Eric was a great server
Great food, good atmosphere, was told about the 18% gratuity before we were seated by the hostess. Eric was a great waiter, he make sure we wanted for nothing while enjoying the food.
Me and my girl always come here whenever we go to San Diego. It's pricey but well worth it. The heat is no joke, the wings are big and crunchy while the seafood bucket is to die for. 10/10 just wish there was more booths. We eat better than most royalties in the past.
Everything was delicious. Excellent service, and we all enjoy the food. Thank you!
The price was a bit expensive. It's almost as if the menu was built around serving 2 people. There's an entree for 1 and then 3-4 people. For my husband and myself- we spent around 320.00 after tip. The do inform you at the door they take out 18% on top of what you're paying for food.
That being said- this was the BEST place I have eaten in a while. Being stuck in the desert, we do not have these options.
The service was great. I will definitely be coming here again. Next time, I think we will bring a few others to help us because we had to waste about 100.00 worth of food.
We enjoyed the food. The service was great. The 18% service fee was wild but I get it. Cute lil vibe and very clean.
Love love love this place. I’m Indian and I love my spice… this place did not disappoint by any means… this is also my first time having a seafood boil. And it was epic. The service was wonderful… definitely worth the 18% service fee. The beignets are amazing so please make some space for it in yo tummy. The seafood boil, the one person bucket is definitely enough for two people. If you’re ordering a combo boil, do not order an appetiser coz it’s already too heavy. Like you will not be able to finish it. Their portions are wonderfully large and way sufficient for two people. So keep that in mind while ordering. They are on the pricey side, coz their boil cost about 50$ minimum… our bill for two people came upto 162$ including the 18% tip. And we ordered fish and chips, one bucket boil, two bourbon and ginger ale, one cocktail and the beignets. So order wisely. We had to pack the fish and chips. But they were definitely yummy. Will most definitely come back for more. <3
Absolutely love this place! As an Indian who appreciates spice, I was not disappointed at all. This was also my first time trying a seafood boil, and it was truly epic. The service was fantastic and well worth the 18% service fee. Don't miss out on the amazing beignets; make sure to save some space in your stomach for them.
For the seafood boil, the single-person bucket is more than enough for two people. If you're going for a combo boil, skip the appetizer because it's already quite substantial—finishing it all might be a challenge. Their portions are generously large and easily sufficient for two people, so keep that in mind when placing your order. While they are on the pricey side, with the boil costing a minimum of $50, our bill for two people, including an 18% tip, came to $162. We ordered fish and chips, a bucket boil, two bourbon and ginger ales, one cocktail, and the beignets, so choose your items wisely. We had to pack the fish and chips, but they were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back for more! ❤️
Our dinner was surprisingly good for a Cajun restaurant in Southern California. The jambalaya was delicious and both soups we ordered were very good. They add an automatic gratuity which I’m usually not thrilled about and typically means I don’t do more math, but our server was beyond excellent and deserved the extra.
Came from out of town and wanted seafood. Just off the Gaslamp district, this seems to have a mix of tourists and locals. I ended up eating there twice. (Jambalaya) The only downside was the sign explaining the 18% surcharge and making sure we read it before seating us. I imagine it's because if they don't, a lot of customers from out of town don't understand this practice.
