Vegan perspective review: The vegan pancake I had so good!! It was a limited time one but hopefully they permanently add it. My partner had a breakfast Sammie and he enjoyed it, the waitress was thoughtful when I ordered hash browns and made it vegan as well. Would definitely visit again.
The only 'down' side was waiting for 45 min but there's so much to look around in the area it went by quickly.

The mimosas were my favorite part. I had the Mango puree mimosa which was delicious and my husband had the traditional cranberry mimosa. The atmosphere was fun and original. We had great service and waiter was attentive and friendly. The food could have had a little Morse salt but was overall delicious.

My husband and I visited during breakfast hours, I ordered the Brioche French toast with house potatoes and Mexican Mocha. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very laid back, and the customer service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The Breakfast Republic in North Park is the best one. They have the best staff and the food is consistently cooked exceptionally yummy. They have dishes that cater to special diets. If they put your name on the waitlist stick around bc they tend to over estimate their wait time. I love the quirky atmosphere. I have to eat glutenfree and they have the yummiest gf cinnamon raisin French toast....I also like to play around with the rooster syrup dispenser....they have fun quirky merchandise....you will quickly get addicted to the food here.....and yes you can order a half order of something to add to your meal if your eyes are bigger than your appetite.....oh and definitely get their fresh squeezed oj.......

The food was good. We went with their vegan options, and they were tasty. Waitress forgot my toast...asked 4 separate times for the toast before it finally came, and it was supposed to be rye, but was sourdough, and by that time, I was over it. The menu states they add an additional 4% charge on your bill to help with costs as an FYI.
Outdoor dining was very nice.

Ordered food to go. Very friendly and accommodating to allergies over the phone. The vegan eggs Benedict is DELICIOUS!!!! That jam and hot sauce is superb. Also ordered a California breakfast burrito and my partner couldn’t finish it, it was huge. He thought it was tasty as well. Definitely recommend for vegan options!!

Service was good, for was tasty & well done on the traditional & unique aspects.

A busy place with tasty meals! The price point is a little high, but the quality is excellent and the portions are generous, so that makes up for it significantly. Service was fast (considering how busy it was; I never waited more than 5 minutes for anything except my meal) and my server was very knowledgeable and gave me great recommendations.
I sat outside on the patio and had the San Diego Benedict. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. A great little spot in North Park for some great breakfast in a fun atmosphere!

Good vibe breakfast place. Amazing service, and the food portion was out of this world. So worth the price. We had the pancake sampler and the S'mores French Toast. Our cocktails were French Toast and a Lychee Mimosa

I'm sure the locals love this place. I would too, except for the 20 min wait on a slow day Id say it was worth the wait. Food was out in no time and I had so much that I almost couldn't finish my plate.
The home-cut Potatoes were the best part.

If you make the trek, be prepared to pay for parking or walk a few blocks for a free spot. Per Google Maps, I last visited this location in 2017 but couldn't remotely remember what I had. Needless to say, it was nice to walk in and order without a "favorite" on my mind.
Even though I am not a fan of yellow corn, I coud not pass up the opportunity to have the Shrimp and Grits paired with the Brussel Sprout Potatoes (roasted brussels, potatoes, bacon, onion, parmesan cheese, and balsamic vinegar). It was a leap of faith to order grits in California, but Breakfast Republic did not disappoint! Between the service and the food, they definitely earned 5 stars in my book.

We've been to a different location, and if you get here before 10am - there's not a lot of people which is pretty nice compared to the ones we've been to which takes about 20-45 minutes it all just depends. Peak here was around 11am on a Sunday. I got the flight of 3 pancakes (strawberry cheesecake, oreo, and bacon). Honestly, you don't really need the syrup. You can eat the pancakes as it is because it already has its sweetness. My boyfriend got the cluck madame which was delicious. You can't really go wrong with what you order here. Highly recommended.

1st time here today. Celebrating my 50th birthday!🥳 The steak and eggs were AMAZING!! Steak was cooked perfectly!! The chimichurri sauce was delicious. Our server was Traci, she surprised me with a free 1/2 order of French toast. It was delicious and I was very satisfied with my service and food! Definitely going to be a repeat customer 👍😁

Delicious! Amazing! And overall great. We came here to try it out after a friend recommended it. There was a 30 minute wait but it was well worth it. Our server was Vanessa she was amazing!! Great personality and she was always checking on us without she being too much. We ordered Some steaks and eggs , Benedict, Omeletes and some spiced up coffee. Everything was delicious and despite it being crowded , our food arrived in a timely manner. Definitely be going back.
