We had a delicious breakfast from the best staff. There was a 40-minute wait for a table, but decided to eat at the bar. What a great decision. We were given the best service right away.

I agree with Monique Murphy, the Sweet Potato Pancakes are spectacular. Cameron and the Operation Service Team showed out with spectacular service as well. My visiting cousin loves the place and turned me on to it during a recent visit. I’m a new regular!

My recent visit to Snooze on 5th Ave in San Diego was nothing short of a breakfast revelation, earning this eatery a well-deserved five-star rating. From the moment I stepped through the door, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a truly memorable dining experience. The standout feature of my visit was the incredible sweet potato pancakes—a culinary masterpiece that left me wondering how I had ever breakfasted without them. The pancakes were a symphony of flavors, perfectly balancing the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes with a hint of spice. Each bite was a delightful surprise, and it's safe to say that Snooze has forever elevated my pancake expectations. Accompanying this culinary marvel was the extra crispy bacon, a perfect complement to the sweet potato pancakes. The bacon was cooked to perfection, achieving that elusive balance of crispiness and smoky flavor. It was the ideal savory counterpart to the sweetness of the pancakes, creating a breakfast experience that was nothing short of heavenly. The wait staff at Snooze deserves special commendation for their attentiveness and friendly demeanor. From the moment we were seated to the last sip of coffee, the staff ensured that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—a testament to Snooze's commitment to exceptional customer service. The innovative menu, featuring creative twists on breakfast classics, showcases Snooze's dedication to providing a unique and satisfying dining experience. The sweet potato pancakes, in particular, exemplify the culinary ingenuity that sets this eatery apart. In conclusion, Snooze on 5th Ave in San Diego has not only redefined my breakfast expectations but has also become a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a delightful morning meal. From the extraordinary sweet potato pancakes to the extra crispy bacon and the attentive wait staff, every element of the Snooze experience contributes to a five-star breakfast adventure. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite breakfast in many states for many many months! Everything was perfect. Not one issue with any of our plates. The best thing is they offer lots of half plates allowing you to mix and get the perfect breakfast! The Bella Bella was delicious! The sweet potatoe pancake was spectacular I thought it would be my least favorite but was number 1 just like fall!

The food was out of this world. The breakfast carbonara pasta was the hands down the best I’ve ever had. I can see why they have so many positive reviews, almost 4k! Very impressive. We can down to visit SD from LA and we’re glad we stopped by. Well definitely be back for more!

I really enjoy coming here. This was the 3rd or 4th time I've visited. I love the vibe and feel of the place. The staff are all cool and friendly. The classic ham Benedict is absolutely delicious. I love the flavor of the ham. The cheddar hollandaise sauce is so good I could drink it (don't worry, I won't!) The Chile Verde Benedict is great as well. My husband loves the corned beef hash. My son had the kids' French toast, which came with hashbrowns and fresh fruit. I will definitely be returning.

Had a egg scramble with pork sausage, tomato and peppers, cheddar cheese. It was very good. The wheat toast was a thick slice and the hash browns were like a little potato cake. Friend had the pork sausage tacos that they enjoyed. Coffee was good. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Very enthusiastic staff!

Amazing staff, very welcoming and smiling. Gave great options and helped us to choose the best of the day breakfast. Food wasn’t that great. We ordered Egg Benedict- it was very bland, has brown was more like those frozen ones, not good fried. Egg Benedict is extremely costly for the way it was done. Danish pan cake - was fine. Mocha- was good 5 star for staff and hospitality 3.5 for food Coffe- mocha- amazing good

Very friendly and patient staff. Restaurant is beautiful. Love the colorful and warm interior. Food and drinks were delicious. Every item on the plate was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The pancake was fluffy and soft. So good. French toast was made well, topped with fruits, yummy! Scrambled eggs weren’t over cooked, and seasoned. Even the drinks, spiced chai, and cappuccino, were very very good. Do come early because it can get busy and crowded very fast. Duh with such good food!
