Small but filling vegetarian section. Good food and flavor. Slightly weird to have an aquarium at a sushi spot and the booth seats are uncomfortable.
No TVs in case you’re looking to watch the game.

My husband and I went to Harney’s tonight and loved it! The food was absolutely delicious and had such unique flavors. The owner, Sam, was so friendly and kind, too! You’ve got to try it!

Had an amazing time and even better sushi here, and for a price that'd be affordable in other states!! Couldn't believe how great the prices were. Waiter/bartender was super friendly and even helped me get a sushi discount that was going on for happy hour (the James Bond and flaming lips combo). The atmosphere was nice and quaint. This was the only good food I had while visiting San Diego lol and it didn't cost 60$ so I was over the moon. This little spot is a gem

I am absolutely in LOVE with Harney Sushi! My boyfriend took me here for the first time for my birthday and it was a lovely experience! We arrived at 5:45pm and was able to get a table at the outdoor patio which is so romantic and chill! We got there just in time before Happy Hour ended at 6pm and our server Kyshon gave us the most outstanding service! He was super friendly, professional, gave recommendations on the menu and we enjoyed chatting with him throughout our meal! We started with the Happy Hour $5 gyoza, Beer & sake, tuna belly, albacore nigiri and ended with salmon nigiri. We split a YUMMY Dragon roll and I had a cup of miso. I highly recommend getting a table in the outdoor patio if you can. So lovely. Can’t wait to go back.

The food at this place is very good. They have a nice selection of sake and interesting roll combinations. The fish is fresh.

Hadn’t been in a long time and decided to go back but try the happy hour menu which was better than several other sushi places I know with a few options. I recommend the salad sampler, the half and half roll, and to wash it down with a flavored sake vase. The sashimi was dry. We got some handrolls from the regular menu which we were not impressed by except that they do make sure that seaweed wrap stays crispy.

Love this place. Waited til my second visit to do a review, had to make sure it wasn't hit and miss, and it did not disappoint. The Rollz Royce was my favorite roll, good crunch and flavor. The Katsu Chicken does not dissatisfy, probably the best I've had.

I love eating at Harney Sushi. I make it a point to eat here whenever I'm in San Diego. It has a great chill vibe with some amazing food and wonderful service. It seems to be a popular spot and is always busy whenever I go.
