I love El Pollo Loco and visited this location in San Diego while we were vacationing there in early August of 2023. The food was delicious and value priced. We fed the family of four for less than $30. We cannot wait for El Pollo Loco to build their restaurant here in Colorado Springs.

This is the best el pollo loco that I have ever been to. We got the 10 piece Fire Grilled chicken with beans and a loco salad for 20 bucks. The chicken was crispy all over golden brown and steaming hot. The beans perfect. Wow this is a dedicated true to chicken place to go. Friendly workers had more than a smile but suggested the perfect Churro for dessert.
I have never had a more positive and Delicious meal. All the toppings for a perfect Dinner. Thank you El Pollo loco for staying true to your advertised meals and a perfectly grilled chicken!

Been several years since I've been back to Cali from Hawaii but i couldnt wait to have El Pollo Loco again. It was just as good as I remembered it. Fresh quality ingredients and very tasty. The best fast food healthy Mexican food around. I had the double chicken bowl. Was amazing. This location is on the smaller side so not as pleasant a dining in experience. Staff very friendly and food expertly prepared.

They always forget the napkins and a couple extra salsas would be nice too. The food is good the service is friendly just not always quite on top of everything the atmosphere is pretty plain but I definitely will go back

Still with at about 1hr to close, place was already ready to close within 5 mins if needed. Low food quality, staff including cook cleaning and preparing food orders, understands the pressure from management to save a few $ in labor, but if looked at quality food and service vs $ which side valance will go

It's your standard El Pollo loco, the food hasn't changed much in the years I've been going. They did recently start their own rewards program which is nice if you go there often. Great food, decent value. I only 4 stared it because price for value at least I feel isn't their. Service was excellent though, I've never had a bad experience at a El Pollo Loco.

I was not too happy to find out that they don't take EBT like most other El Pollo locos. But I can't complain about the food. I had the protein chicken bowl which is always good. If I don't get that I get the double chicken.
