I have discovered Saffron a recently and already gone back 3 times. Everything tastes absolutely incredible. It has taken Indian food and brought it to another level. Their butter chicken is to die for. My mind was absolutely blown after trying it, I had to spam my family about it because it was so delicious. I highly recommended the butter chicken, samosas, garlic naan, lamb curry, and honestly everything.

Nice Indian place in San Carlos. The cheese naan was really good as well as the chole bhature. The chicken and samosas were delicious too. The service was amazing and whatever he recommended was on point. Over all wonderful food experience.

Saffron is a very nice Indian restaurant in downtown San Carlos. They have great service and helpful wait staff, excellent decor and very tasty food. Although their menu is light on options & the portion sizes are relatively small, the quality of food is great.

Food was great and the portion sizes were reasonable. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean and new. The chicken was pretty juicy and soft. Raitha was very tasty.

Chicken 65 was good, the chicken is very tender and a little crispy in the fry, but I want more chili and yogurt sauce. It came with a sauce that takes like a spicy ranch made with yogurt instead of sour cream and I am 100% here for it. This gets an 8 out of 10. Old Dehli butter chicken is really good, spicy in a way that creeps on you and hangs out for a while and I like it, but it is very tomato forward and not aromatic spice forward like I want. This could just be a personal preference. There is a bit of depth in what I think is a smoked chili that went into the sauce, but it really is missing that lime leaf and strong earthy spice flavor. The ODS chicken gets a 7/10. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Amazing food, very tasty, nice plating, nice service and nice ambience. Tried out General Tso's Cauliflower, Malai Kofta and Garlic Naan. Asked to make the items spicy and it was made really spicy. Appreciate it very much. All the items were very tasty

Fresh contemporary remodelled interior design. Service was excellent but the food was just okay compare to other Indian restaurants I've eaten in. Chicken biryani was lacking rice and lamb curry's meat was tough and felt reheated. Garlic naan missing the garlic flavor. Mango lasi was delicious.
