Cold Stone Creamery

Cold stone is dropping the ball today. We’d been promising our 5 year old coldstone for days. Finally my bf and I had the day off together so we first went to the Daly City one on junipers Serra. Closed. 5yr old melts down. Bf drives us all the way to San Bruno coldstone. Closed. This one at least was nice enough to have a sign that said “closed today”. The one in DC was just straight up dark and we ended up standing around waiting for them to open for 20min (they said they opened at noon, we got there at 1230 and stood outside for another 20min). So frustrated. My poor kid is so sad.

I made an order through the grubhub app to pick up and not have to wait and not wait in line, the app informed me to pick up at 7:55pm I arrived at the staff and asked cim to get my order that I asked for by grubhub, she told me I arrived too early and I had to wait 20 more minutes, the online orders were created to facilitate and not waste time on lines, I pay more on my order just to not lose time on lines

This place is horrible. Called 3 times for a cake for someone birthday and they sold my cake to someone else. The problem is that I called 3 times and I went to 5 stores looking for a specific cake and when I got there they sold my cake to someone else and that is why I am leaving this bad review for them. They need better staff at this store that actually speaks English. The woman and man that was there was very unprofessional. They need to hire people that understand the customers.

No issue with the ice cream when we can actually get it. The posted close time on Sunday at 8 pm on every online site is not accurate. This place closes at 7 pm at the latest. I’m pretty sure I’ve been there at 6:50 pm and been denied service too. If you close at 6:45 pm, that’s fine. Just be up front about it so people don’t waste time driving to this mall, parking, and walking in to the food court for nothing.

We ordered 3 milk shakes and it took them 22 minutes to make them.The 2 staff that were there had no idea and when we asked for the shakes they walked back and forth trying to figure out how to make them. We would never go back here and do not recommend anyone else does either. Just get some shakes from McDonalds, they're just as good.
