Celia's Mexican Restaurant

For all the years that I've been in San Bruno, surprisingly this was my first visit to this Celia's. I've been to Daly City and San Mateo. Chips and salsa were warm and a great starter. Huge, but still delicious, portion on their steak picado. Friendly and attentive staff. I need a reminder to come back here on a really empty stomach.

The Celia's on El Camino Real, San Bruno.. is the best. I'm hooked on their ($18.) Express Burrito. Is so big they serve it in a foil tray. Fully loaded. My review today is to point out how we all make mistakes, n Celia's is not the exception. Last night I paid for an Express Burrito n in turn got a super skinny burrito.. I was shocked to see the huge difference, so I spoke with a manager. She corrected the problem n gave me a second burrito.. No charge. She didn't have to do all that but she did. Their staff is very friendly. As long as they keep treating me so wonderful, that will continue to b my spot. I highly recommend it. For $2..u get a huge serving of chips..🙂

I do love this cuisine. But I had a dilemma. Finish the burrito and leave no room for the libations? Or, box the burrito and take it with me? Easy decision. The burrito was so good, who wouldn't want seconds later! And I am not one to partake in alcohol abuse. No Sir no Ma'am. Can't do it, won't do it.

1.) Chips and Salsa. --The salsa needs more flavor put some more love in it.. 2.) I order a fajitas and the meat and shrimp tasted so bland. My rice and beans.. the easier thing to cook had no flavor in it.. I had to add salt to it ... still taste nasti... The steak literally have no flavor in it.. the beat thing was my bell peppers... 3.) I would highly recommend listening to your customers. Read the reviews, fix it up. Add more flavor, buy better quality food. My experience...
